EARLY ACCESS // foreshortening studies (Patreon)

This month’s challenge for flame members was on drawing extreme angles and foreshortening! It was all about capturing overlapping shapes and understanding how the body and head look from angles that we don't usually draw them in. It was a tough one but lots of fun to do!

Flame members also get the full process video, plus a resource that talks you through my process and explains my creative choices in making these studies. It also discusses common mistakes and gives some tips! Those will be posted in a minute.

If you want to participate next month, I’ll be posting next month’s challenge on the 1st ~ just like last month’s challenge, it will include:

Tips and suggestions

A list of resources to help you complete the challenge

A bonus challenge for those who want to invest more time

If you want to participate and you’re not yet a flame member, be sure to upgrade your membership to get access to the challenge! New challenges get posted on the 1st of every month. For now, I hope you like these drawings✨
