EARLY ACCESS // simple shapes (Patreon)

This month’s challenge for flame members was on drawing poses with simple and expressive shapes! This is a great exercise to practice stylization and push the personality of the poses. It's actually so much more complicated than it sounds - simplifying takes a lot of effort! I also created some warm-ups and style tests before I figured out how I wanted to draw these - they're included in this post as well.

Flame members also get the full process videos, plus a resource that talks you through my process and explains my creative choices in making these studies. It also discusses common mistakes and gives some tips! Those will be posted in a minute.
