Hello lovely patrons! In last month's Q&A session, I discussed an exercise booklet that I created for the kickstarter edition of my third artbook, The Style of Loish. This booklet was intended as a companion to the book, and is full of worksheets, exercises, and ideas that will help you find your own artistic style! I get a lot of questions about how you can develop your own style and I keep coming back to the exercises in this booklet.

Because so many patrons expressed interest, I made it available in my Patreon Shop. Paid members can get it for free, and everyone else can get it for $3! It's a PDF version of the booklet, which you can print out, use digitally, or just consult it as a guide! I hope some of you find this useful ♥

How finding your own style is a question that most of the artists ask to themselves.... me included! And do you know what is the most fun part about this? I wasn't aware I have my own art style until a company hired me because they liked me style lol At that moment I realized I already knew how I like things to be done. Sometimes, the problem is that we don't stop looking how other people do things, and trying to be like the artists we admire, and we forgot we have our own taste, our own workflow...

Loish

I agree with this so much!! a lot of the time, artists are blind to their own style because they are comparing themselves too much to others!

Thank you!! 😱

Hi... Loish... oh... I've been a fan since I was in college 20 years ago. So viewing your art was a part of my "childhood" young adult hood. It's so great to find your patreon Imma join !!!
