Here's the process video for my take on the same head, different angles challenge! I struggled a LOT with this one, so the process took way longer than usual. That's why there are 2 parts! This is part 1 - part 2 is coming right up.

Some info about this process:

This was sped up by 250%, so 2.5 times the original speed.

The drawing session took me about 5 and half hours in total.

I also made a resource video about my process for creating these studies, which will be uploaded in a few minutes. Be sure to check that out if you want some commentary and additional info on this video, as well as tips on creating studies like these!

I’ve always wanted to get my drawing right from the start. Way too hard on myself!! It’s nice to see your process videos because I get to see all the adjustments you make throughout your whole process! Many more fine-tunings that I had thought. You know how you’d like your faces/bodies/gestures to look (from years of practice), so all of your refinements seem to be attempts to resolve your images as you (intuitively know) how they ‘should’ look. Drawing and sketching must have always been fun for you. Anyway, thank you 💙 for showing that even with your level of drawing/sketching skills…..your process still involves a great deal making changes and fine-tuning.👍🏻🤔

…… and one of the many things I like about working with digital tools are the number of options that allow for making changes and refining work. Just need to take the time to learn to use the tools efficiently & effectively!
