The result of a sketching session where I tried to push the colors way further than they were in real life, to try and capture the same feeling that I had when I saw that moment in real life. I feel like photos are so dull in comparison to seeing the real thing! But then when I push the colors too far, it doesn’t look believable anymore. Trying to find the balance with sketches like these!

Oh my gosh they are so pretty! Your environment speed painting tutorial was so helpful for me, it makes me really motivated to draw more of those 😍

So cute and felt like minimalistic, I remember the sayin “less is more” and love to see you worked like this type of different thing ✨💕

the last one is amazing, makes me feel so calm

First one makes me feel like I went for an early walk, I can feel a cool and fresh sunrise 💖 and the last one looks just like that red sun that I look at hiding every afternoon from my balcony. I love this. 🥰

This brings me instant joy. Love the intense colors and yummy textures. I totally feel you on photograps not having the same effect as the view you see with your own eyes, but it makes an interesting art experiment 😊

Niquey

The colors are definitely amazing!

Beautiful! I love the colors and textures

The bottom left one feels like a real sunrise, and since that’s my favorite time of day… :D I can feel the humidity and the fog!

OMG! I love this sooo much

2026-09-13 21:00 Great balance of colors! It's quite true, we perceive far more nuance of color than a photo can capture, which is the argument of many to paint from life. But that's the awesome thing about stylized painting! Not only can we capture those color nuances, but add in the emotional feeling those colors bring as well. I'd say you've done that here. :) Clouds and skies are so much fun to marvel at. <3

I love them!! Doing this kind of style in a tutorial would be so cool too!

These are beautiful. We get unbelievable colours in sunsets here.

Beautiful as always ma'am :) the one in the second row on the left is insane, I really love this effect the overlapping shapes create there - like this light effect on pictures which I don't know in englisch :D keep going in these landscape topics, it's awesome to watch you pushing yourself in a new theme and chapter of your art! I am also challenging myself in drawing landscapes for a project and I have one question: may you describe how you start drawing people in these kind of art? Because the focus isn't on the human being, it's hard for me to capture them the right way. Hope you understand what I mean :) thqnk you and greetings from germany, Elissa

2026-09-13 21:00 These are all great, but I'd say the first one looks the most realistic, whereas the last one seems the strongest in terms of emulating mood rather than realism.

thank you! it's interesting, because that was the chronological order in which I drew them, and usually I notice that I manage to loosen up a whole lot better by the end!

thank you! clouds and skies always evoke so much emotion in me. i guess because they are themselves a really apt metaphor for emotions.

I think you totally got it, it is the Golden Hour! He is the father of the most rich, vibrant colors!
