Here’s the full process video for my Poppies painting that I posted last month! The whole thing took me a bit over 5 hours to make, so I’ve divided it up into 3 parts, each one slightly sped up so that it’s not too long of a watch. As always, you can tweak the playback speed using the gear button!

This first video is sped up 1,5 times, so only slightly faster than the real time process. In the beginning, I try out a few different poses, which is what I usually do during my creative process. I’m basically searching for the right sketch that will ‘click’ in my mind. Once I have that, I can think about the decorative elements around it, which I also play around with for a while.

I wasn’t sure about the colors for this one, so I ended up making two different variations: a dark one and a light one, which you’ll both see open for a while. I end up finalizing the lighter one but I keep the dark one open as a reference, because there were some things I liked about the contrast there.

Hope you enjoy it and part 2 is coming right up!

For me it’s too hard to make a screenrecord while I’m drawing. I feel anxious it is like someone spying me and I should’t do any mistakes 😄 It’s easier in Procreate, all automatic. Hope we see that feature in Photoshop too. Btw the drawing looks amazing Lois! Love it, U did a great job as always ✨💕

Ooooo I’m so excited for this! It’s 5am here and I should sleep but pretty colors 😂

Yeah! 😍 It'll probably take me a whole week to watch the full process, pausing and rewinding hundreds of times haha But I'm all for it!

I watched your tutorials more often than process videos, but this one is amazing! I could learn so much seeing you exploring different poses! I am willing to see more exploring processes in timelapses!
