Getting back into drawing interiors! The funnest part of moving into a new home is hanging up the frames. Then it really starts to feel like your home :) What do you have on your walls in your house?

I love your color palette here! The walls almost look like silk! Also I feel you, my place started to feel like home once I hanged my favorite vinyls framed 🥰

Elena Caballero

Love all the details and the textures on the walls! I agree, hanging stuff on walls is like the cherry on top of making a new space your own 😊

I love how organic it is, im in the stage of painting some accent walls hopefully will hang some frame soon 😊

I have a signed print of Greg Hildebrandt's Angel of God in a distressed white wooden frame with a lamp pointing at it. Makes me feel like I've retained something good from my teens.

I loooove this! You've captured such a cute moment here :) My office is probably the most 'finished' in our house. I've got lots of artwork from artists I admire, a peg board for art supplies, large posters from my favorite video games and my guitar to keep me practicing often.

Clarissa

This piece is awesome! I really like how you made both ceiling and floor a bit crooked so the whole piece doesn't feel stiff. I'll keep that in mind next time I'm drawing buildings!

Sharon Tu

These are my favorite. Would love if one of the months video be on these lifestyles

Oh I love the hallway, especially the glow of the lamp! It gives the feeling of one of those warm and fuzzy ceiling lights without being a realistic rendering of one and I adore that. I also get the feeling, that very soon, the cat will sit down next to the stool and make her opinion about the new decoration known. Sadly, I have little wall-space but I am working on a wall of natural poetry, with artistic renderings of nature, mechanical instruments and some old-timey etchings. It's a very baroquely squished situation. 😅

ahh do you mean the tutorial video? that might be an interesting one, i find the workflow for drawing interiors to be really challenging!

that has been fairly liberating for me haha! just allowing myself to draw it crooked and messy!

accent walls are such a good idea! My whole home felt more complete once i had a few of them.

that's also a good one! I don't collect vinyls but always appreciate seeing them displayed with pride in other people's homes.

I know!!!! Very challenging that’s why would love to see your work flow. But I get it. You get detailed with these and they always tell a story. I love them. Thank you

I'm about to sell my place, so it looks quite alien to me right now. The broker suggested I re-paint the apartment to get more of a mass appeal, and I hope it will work, because it doesn't feel like me right now. I can't wait to move into the new and bigger apartment where I will have space for all the art I've collected so far.

that can be a strange feeling! i feel like bonding with the place that you live is so closely tied with how much effort and time we put into making it ours.

Exactly. I can't wait to paint the white walls into some colours that makes it feel more like my home and not a catalogue home.

Lauri Panopoulos

I love this, Lois! The lighting really adds to the mood.

Lately I see a lot of storm clouds in the sky of social media and similar sites, then I come here, look at your new amazing cozy paintings and feel the sunshine again ^^
