Here’s the process for my bathroom painting! I figured this one would be interesting to share in order to show how I implemented the perspective grid into the painting. I just copy/pasted one from google and transform/warped it to fit the scene I wanted to make!

Some info about this painting process:

It’s been sped up to 250%, so a bit over twice the original speed.

The painting took me about 3.5 hours to make in total.

The brush I use the most here is the Gritty Butter brush from Wes Gardner’s 2020 brush pack.

You can find a step-by-step of my process for drawing interiors here.

Hope you enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!

Ohh!! I appreciate the process of this video. I was anxious to know how you used the perspective grid.

What canvas size do you use in this case? Do you do it in high quality? in case you have to make an impression of it. I thank you very much.

I just finished watching it. I love watching you paint, how you bring those first lines to life, I love these videos. Great admiration for your art. Sorry for my enthusiasm. I'm going to stop filling you with comments haha Greetings from Argentina

Hi! Losih, I’m a new member Gavin, I watched most of your process videos, this helped me a lot. May I ask you a question? What kind of reason or motivation makes you always decide the color through Hue/Saturation or Color Balance. Instead of using the color window to directly decide?

Such a beautiful picture, and embedded with a wonderful story. I learned something watching this - how neurotic you are about details! :) jk Seriously, though - the number of times you adjusted the faces was incredible, getting it just how you wanted it. It's made question how much I let slide in my own work. Thanks for sharing.

haha yep! i try not to sweat the details too much but I can get hung up on stuff that is really crucial to the painting communicating well. the faces are the focal point here so I couldn't let that go!

I generally start at A3 size, usually I upscale it to about 8000 pixels on the long edge!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I guess it's just habit. those are the most intuitive choices for me!

Is this on procreate?

Are all your tutorial on photoshop? I am not familiar with photoshop at all. If I become a member, how easy would it be to follow your tutorials?

My tutorials are on a mix of different topics - most of them are created in photoshop, but some of them are with traditional art or procreate! some of them are also about basic drawing principles and less about the drawing software, even though I demonstrate the principles in Photoshop. The tutorials are intermediate level, though - basic knowledge of digital art is needed! You can try checking out my free tutorials over on http://loish.school/ - they are quite similar to my tutorials here in terms of structure and information they give.
