It’s been a while since I was able to spend a bit more time on a painting! I decided to re-visit the technique from my previous drawing session. I took a sketch from my sketchbook and used a mixture of the lasso tool and a grainy speckled airbrush to paint and blend the colors - you can find a link to that brushset here. I added a close-up of the hair so you can see how that looks when zoomed in. I really like this technique! It adds a lot of texture and gives the painting more of a traditional feel. I didn’t film the entire process of this one, but I filmed some parts of it and I will be putting together a little process video from that. I hope you like this one!

Ah this is lovely!! I love the colors of the mushrooms in contrast to her skin tone <3

I love it when a new digital painting like this one drops, I can just make it my wallpaper and stare at it for days 😍

I love seeing how integral the lasso has become for you over the years. I bet they had no idea that tool would end up being so versatile. Fingers crossed they don't eliminate it and replace it with some stupid "automatic" process. I have looked at this sketch many times, seeing it get the full treatment is great!

Beautiful. Love the colors and painterly feel to it.

definitely have to try this grainy feel......even if i find difficult to apply it softly and avoid to fall in the excess side...Thanks for sharing these !!!👍😊

Muy hermoso el sentimiento que refleja en su rostro al igual que los tonos de las setas en su piel. Me encanta!!
