Another great tutorial. Loads of little insight gems and nuggets. I definitely want to improve my use of the lasso tool as I love the effect you produce with it. I also appreciate the Procreate specific demo. Thanks Lois.

Lisa

Wonderful. I love that you also share how it is done in procreate. 🩷

Hi Loish, I just watched this tutorial, and I have some insights to share. 1. If you're concern about the selection edge blocking the way you see how it blends, you can use ctrl H to hide that selection line, while the selection is still active. 2. You can combine brush strokes while making a selection to have more diverse shape of selections. When making a selection, press Q, you'll enter a quick mask mode, then you can paint away the selection shapes with various brushes. When you enter the quick mask mode, there are only 2 colors available, black and white. White is adding selection with brush strokes, and black is the opposite. You can toggle it with X. I'm curious whether you already know this or not yet, but I want to know your thoughts, maybe you can discover another workflow with this insight if you haven't :)
