Here’s the result of a couple of random sketch sessions from the last weeks! Some of these are studies of statues I saw in a museum last month - continuing in the same vein as the statue paintings I made in January. The other ones are just random doodles. I discovered a really cute frog called the lemur leaf frog and had to draw that! I always enjoy sessions like these because they’re all about just enjoying the process. I’m trying to let go of having too many expectations and just seeing them as a moment to reconnect with my creativity. Hope you like ‘em!

Love the feeling of movement in the sketches, really inspires me to practice and be more creative and free in my drawing.

One day I’ll finish a sketchbook without a random frog/gecko sketch. Not this one tho. Not this one.

Hi Loish, nice sketches! I have a question. I always draw on the one page of my sketchbook only, because when i draw on the both sides they smudge into one another. Do you fix your drawings? If yes, what fixatives do you use? Thanks for your answer! :3
