Hey guys,

"Life is this amazing thing,  and sometimes you just go out like a buster."

I thank everyone for being so understanding.

This was horrifically embarrassing, akin to a comedian bombing on stage, or a magic trick going awry...., especially after 11 months of working on it, and an all-nighter before the premier, its just devastating....

However, It appears that my work is so respected, that there is no objection to me running it back and doing it even better. Because you guys know, it's worth losing the momentum it once had, in service of a final version that will be cherished.

I hate to say it, but it's a fitting end to this insane project. In a weird way, I'm glad you guys got a peak behind the scenes. In animation, there is absolutely zero room for error. It's a long magic trick you have to sustain and make people believe in, and any lack of care destroys the illusion.

Every project is a marathon and for this one, I broke an ankle, spilled a coffee on myself, and crawled over the finish line backwards, only to realize it was still a mile away.

it really demonstrates where my head is as, I crash land into the holiday season.
Anyway, no time for self-pity, just a learning experience.

Happy Sunday, Everyone, and please enjoy the FINAL Version.

LARA CROFT VS HELENA DOUGLAS on Broadway - 3D Animated Short Film

As I was saying..... Alright, Guys, it's finally Upon Us. Please enjoy my long overdue Animation: Lara Croft vs. Helena Douglas! These two female icons take over Broadway in a thrilling, High-Stakes, Battle! I don't even know where to begin when it comes to discussing this project. But I'd like to thank the fans who've been with me from the beginning on this one. This was one of my earliest ideas, when I first picked up Blender, during Quratine 4 years ago. This match-up saw many iterations that never saw the light of day. So It's somewhat surreal to finally be publishing it. If you asked me 3 months ago, if this project would ever be completed, I would had my doubts. Yet, Here We Are. 13,250 Frames, each one animated and fought for, individually. The insurmountable amount of problem-solving, concentration, and motivation, to have for not just a project, but to have kept this up, and to not lose quality in my work, is a task I don't think I could ever give proper credit to. The amount of sacrifices I've made.... I can't begin to explain. I'm just one person. , I take the responsibility of crafting these fights very seriously, as I've stated before, I haven't seen much in my life that resembles them, and I want to approach each story with care and love and ensure these projects are the absolute best I can make them, ( even if my average view duration is 20% ) On one hand, it's good that this project took as long as it did because that time gave me resources that I was able to leverage and make the project better. The voices were surprisingly done by the ChatGPT Advance Voice Mode, with AI enhancements to clean up the audio recording. I regret not using actors, and I had some insanely talented people audition for the roles, but given the source material, it pains me, but maybe this was the right decision. I try to not involve anyone in my work, outside myself, and this was the means to do that.  Over the course of creating this project, It made me realize how thankful I was to have a passion I dedicate so much to. After, who knows how many hours in Blender, believe me, the novelty has worn off, so what's left for me as a storyteller is to say something, meaningful, powerful, and hopeful. Sure this isn't the avenue I thought I'd do it in, but I have a platform and I want it to be a platform of positivity. For the Record, I'd like to thank KonradM96 for making this Incredible Lara Croft model, truly one of the best-looking iterations of the character. and the opera house came from Znyth Technologies- Madame Walker Theatre. Because this project had such a long production time, it became a very personal thing for me. and thus, I want to extend my greatest thanks to William Haviland. The music piece you hear is his incredible and life-changing over of Gypsy, by Fleetwood Mac. I discovered his channel 13 years ago, and that song changed my life in a way that I think is difficult to quantify. That beautiful melody means so much to me and has gotten me through my darkest days and has defined the most intimate moments of my life. It's inspired me to play the piano myself. I'm honored beyond words to share it, and I hope it touches at least one person's heart, as much as it did mine. As always, be kind to yourself and others. Love, KOSMIC
