This was a manufacturing class project that I worked on during the past semester. My task was to design and build a transparent model/educational tool to illustrate a toilet tank seal leak. The finished model does this by comparing a tank with a working seal to a tank with a leaky seal.

Students in the class were given a selection of projects to work on for the semester. This meant that some projects had several people working on them. However, I was the only one to select the toilet project, so I ended up working solo. Although this meant more work for me, it also gave me full creative control over the project. Like, the build didn't technically need an illustrated backing printed on it, but it has one.

The assembly is made up of layered acrylic sheets. I designed these sheets in Mastercam, then cut them out using a laser cutter. For more details on the build process, check out the poster that I made for it.
