Mimic vs the Stereotypical, Cartoon Meat (Patreon)

I was going to make something for Mimic's birthday, but I was so late with it that this now has no relation to birthdays.

Mimic's birthday being on April Fool's is just a coincidence and not an active decision on my part. That is simply the day that the first drawing of her first iteration was dated--years before I made her into a mimic slime. Maybe she was always fated to be a trickster.

I've posted comparisons between Mimic's old designs and new designs before, but I still find it amusing. Granted, this isn't a fully fair comparison since she's wearing a different outfit right now, but that's probably not the most notable difference between these drawings anyways.

How is that meat undercooked and burnt at the same time?
