Better late than never.

Here's the finished piece for the January Art Poll (Touch Grass Edition).   It was between roller blading, biking, and boxing--and it ended up being a tie between boxing and roller blades.  Took me a while to get around to finishing this piece since I was unhappy with the initial sketch (I think I spent two-to-three days working on it and I still didn't like it lol).  The weird perspective made designing the skates difficult.  I eventually revisited it and quickly reworked the sketch into something I liked.  I'm very glad I did!  But enough yapping.  Here's some info about the character:

Her name is Ash (often nicknamed "Bash Dash").  She's a feisty fighter who uses high-tech gloves that convert directional-energy into physical muscle fibers, briefly giving her fists a size increase while she throws a punch.  Combined with the extra velocity gained from her repulsion-blades, she can potentially boost her muscle mass by over 300%.  Her arms get very sore after matches, but not as sore as her opponent's face.   Her likes are fruity sodas and tacos while her dislikes are people who don't go all out against her.  She'd rather lose to a stronger opponent than win against a weaker one.

The concept for the gloves comes from the fact that every time I try drawing something with foreshortening, there's always that one guy who doesn't understand what foreshortening is.  Figured that this is a good compromise lol
