Part-Time Genie (Patreon)

It occurs to me that I only posted these sketches on the discord server, so here they are again.

I've been working on this side project for a while now. It's a one-off story about a short-tempered young woman with an empty bank account and one of the worst menial jobs there is: being a wish-granting genie. What happens when you give infinite power to someone who's never held down a job for more than a week? Is there a force in this universe that can get her to pay rent on time?? And just when did a cup of coffee start costing more than a wish???

I've written up a rough script and hope to translate it to a comic book. If all goes well with my dragon book this year, I'll get to work on this project next. However, as with many things, it's easier said than done. Simply figuring out the logistics of creating and delivering the dragon book is proving to be a daunting undertaking--which I expected, but that doesn't make it any less difficult. While my goal for this book is to have it released by the end of the year, this is my first time planning something like this, so meeting my deadline is far from an assured outcome. Even so, once I've figured out how to print, sell, and ship a book, I won't have to figure it out again, so I'm optimistic!
