Yesss finally ❤️ also glad I actually got the notification on time lol

el

I hope you know there's a 13th episode too! You should definitely watch it too in my opinion 🙏

The finale has the final performances, four of them I think. Some behind the scenes stuff of the trainees talking about their experience, a pijama party, the practice footage behind the final performances, ect. There surprisingly isn't much filler, the announcements of the final members plus their speeches take up a lot of time too. I'd recommend watching the parts in between the members being announced in 2x speed tho, because it's a lot of the mc going "this members was on xyz team, he was an all star, ect ect" that's the filler.

2 AM was a group under both Bighit and JYP (managed together). Jo Kwon has a song with predebut Jhope called Animal. It was released in 2012 so one year before Bts' debut. You should check it out!

Amal Abdi

If you thinking about what to watch after bp, zb1 had a variety travel now predebut called camp zerobaseone

I think it’s only a matter of time before Ariana grande does a K-pop collab because she is under hybe America and she’s now also on Weverse.

Jay's vocals in Over Me are Legendary, his ad-libs are to die for!! Jay didn't have many fans in the audience, he knew he wasn't receiving a lot of votes from Koreans and you could see his confidence decrease through the competition. Jay's votes were mostly coming from international fans. Fun fact: for his solo project, Jay collaborated with the Over Me producer since he was very impressed with Jay. <3

B2023316

Yes Jo Kwon has also done musical theater. He was most recently in rent in which he played the character angel who is a drag queen. He was also involved in a gay dating scandal with soohyun from U-Kiss

Also even though I say scandal I’m not trying to portray it as a bad thing that’s just how the internet and describes it.

So 2AM and 2PM were originally formed as an eleven membered group called One Day by JYP Entertainment but were ultimately split into 2AM which had 4 members and were primarily a Ballad group. And 2PM which had 7 members and were a dance group. I don't know if there were ever meant to promote as a full group "One Day" but I don't think they did past predebut. Essentially that's why they have similar names. And yes, Jay is currently in 2 groups and also debuted as a soloist. He basically did all that in less than a year. Btw, I think another good show to watch after Boys Planet would be "Build Up" which is a vocal based survival show that brings in a lot of singers from different backgrounds (idols, musical actors, trainees, etc) and have them compete to be a part of a 4 membered vocal group. Jay, Wumuti, and Hwanhee from this show also compete on that.

No they didn’t really do much as one group. 2am ended up being a joint venture of both Jyp and Bighit whereas 2pm was exclusively only under Jyp.

CB

you were saying keita's name right! it's like keh-ee-tah.

Carolina G

You should do a reaction special once you finish bp with all the debut songs and comebacks <3

CB
>>147138302

i think they occasionally did some special stages as a full group but i don't think they ever released like an album or anything as one day.

CB

also 2am is still around! they had a comeback like a year ago.

I said it wrong for the longest time. Theirs some names of members of groups that I’ve followed for years and still say wrong. Not purpose it’s just something that happens.

Over me Zhang Hao changed me as a person, society was never the same after that. Hao continues to dominate and I just want to point out that he has won every single mission so far, truly he will never know what it’s like to lose

Yaska

Oh man jays vocals were crazy I still have over me on repeat. I’m still devastated at jay not being in ZB1 because he was my one pick 😭 but I love every member and am happy that they got in!

The finale episode of BOYS PLANET - in fact half of it is like every other episode of BOYS PLANET (behind the scenes segments and more), and the other half of it brings with it four performances: two performances in which the contestants were divided into two groups of 9 and performed together (by the way amazing amazing songs, shows truly unforgettable), and two more songs (one of which is the song HERE I AM) in which all the contestants sing together. Then comes the part where the winners are chosen. Must watch! A stunning episode. The episode itself was aired ON LIVE! By the way - the votes for the last episode (for the winners actually) started ten days before the final was broadcast! And during the episode itself every vote is considered double. The performances themselves in the episode (of both groups) did not gave any benefits\advantage\profits to the contestants, they were just for the show itself. Really amazing songs, my two most favorite songs in BOYS PLANET. It's hard to watch four hours, but you'll really enjoy watching it. I recommend dividing your watching time if 4 hours is too hard and too long (taking a break in the middle), you can also split it and react on separate days and then upload everything, but I don't think you will be able to last because of the tension, the tension in this episode is very high.

LISA SA

have you noticed how much ricky improved from boys planet until now, ZEROBASEONE Ricky? INSANEEE! :) Also abotu jay - yes he actualy had THREE DEBUTS in a year! he debut as a solo (solo album), as main vocal in ONEPACT (together with other 4 contestants from boys planet - i wont do you a spoiler ^.^ ) and won BUILD UP reality show and got to debut again, so currently he's in two different groups, but I mostly see him as part of ONEPACT.

Will be honest 1st time i watched BP i didnt find Say my name that good compared to other performances, probably cuz it usually isnt my cup of taste(the song) Guys did really good with it and it fit them well! Watching it now again for the 3rd or 4th time i kinda like it now. Same for Switch? it grow on me later. My fav songs are probably En Garde and Supercharger then Over me i guess. Ah excited for the next episode cuz it will have some funny games, not happy about eliminations. Those are always sad. Next episode i will say who were my picks amongst last 18. Alot of them didnt make it as we know into Zb1 but they did debut in other groups so thats great. Thank you for this episode, patiently waiting for next one. Have a good rest of the week!

Prinn

There’s actually not too much filler in the first few hours of the finale! The introduction drags a bit but the rest is all normal episode stuff (performances, prep, events, etc). The extra time comes from the ranking announcements, think of the elimination episodes where they take ages to announce each trainee except multiply that by 4 lmao. You can fast forward/skip through the waiting in between each announcement but the speeches were all really good and super emotional. Lots of memes and inside jokes spawned from them too lol.

I thought it was to long. I've watched many survival shows and usually the finale is about 2 hours. I was not expecting this one to be close to 4 hours. I was honestly kinda over it.

Prinn
>>147187571

Yeah it feels like each survival show finale gets longer and longer these days, like there’s building suspense and then there’s COME ONN THE SUSPENSE IS DEAD YOUVE KILLED IT IVE BEEN SITTING HERE FOR 10 MINS. But I think in general this one is probably still my fav?? Maybe bc I already knew mnet would milk it for every second possible. Plus I was so emotionally invested in all the trainees there (especially haobin because I was worried what happened to xiaorina would happen to them) I was determined to sit through it

Secretninja312

7:34 lol btw, they were referring to Park Hanbin here, specifically that was Woongki asking Park Hanbin who he'd think rank #1 visually and PHanbin put himself at #1 and Woongki last. Their friendship is one of the ones that doesn't get talked about enough. They're the same age and were under the same company during boys planet, so they've known each other for awhile, to the point where they can poke fun at each other like that. I'm kinda mad MNET didn't show Chen KuanRui's performance in the musical segment since he also got All Star. Plus I figured he'd do well because he as a traditional chinese dance background which is pretty expressive and theatrical so I wondered if that would translate over to Musical Theater acting. Honestly, I don't really know why Park Hanbin didn't rank higher or make it in to the top 9 despite how good he is and how much screen time he did get throughtout the show. My only guess is because there was also a Sung Hanbin and since he was more popular, Park Hanbin got overshadowed. But at least we know he'd doing fine now with EVNNE. I believe both Park Hanbin and Zhang Hao were the only ones to place first in their group for every round of competition. Thank god the whole Matthew/Hanbin fight ends here. They literally dragged it out for 3 episodes! I've said it before but Jiwoong is very observant and good at reading people, you see him constantly looking over the room and kinda accessing the situation before deciding to speak up/step in and that's so important in a group. I'm so glad he decided to speak to Matthew after everything cooled down and was able to get him to speak up and explain why he felt "betrayed" because I feel like Matthew would've kept it bottled up otherwise. I honestly don't know if the trainees were always allowed to ask mentors to talk individually after lessons because I don't remember really seeing that before. But I do think Zhanghao chose the right mentor to ask about leadership since Solji is the leader of EXID and knows what it's like to lead a group. I think Zhanghao wanted to make sure everyone's opinions and ideas were heard and wanted to try everyone's suggestions that it ultimately ended up eating away at their practice time. He has shown he can be a good leader (Ex KTL G-Group) but this time, he didn't use the right approach but I'm glad he realized his error and talked to Solji about it then came in the next day with a new mindset and everything was fine in the end. Anyways, thanks again for watching! Can't wait to see the next episode. Yes it is another elimination but they packed in so much extra stuff too.

NamiCb

There are 4 performances in the finale, in ep 11 you'll see what 2 are abt. Theres also touching moments between the trainees and its the last 2 hrs that I'd say are filler that you could just fast foward a tonn on until the final speeches for each member bc they actually are really touching. Oh and the interactions when they go up to the seats too!

I know... it's so unfair they didn't show Chen KuanRui's performance... I think Park Hanbin was born to be center, so I'm kind of happy he didn't debut with ZB1 (at least right now), even if he deserved it...

Don't call me.

i dont think u have watched genuinly in pain if you hawvent watched the iland finale WITHOUT SKIPPING . like they looked like they would explode and the announcement was ssooooo long

FINALLY ABLE TO WATCH THIS!!! Was so busy with work T_T - Hanbin, Taerae and Woongki at that time were all wakeone trainees! That's a bit of trivia of why they are close <3 - The coach was lenient with Matthew not knowing the lines because Matthew is really not good with Korean and they just switched parts a few hours ago. It's an added layer of frustration as to why Matthew probably doesn't want to change parts. - Say My Name was the most popular track from the original song. It climbed the charts! Was definitely on my playlist hahaha - Was so happy for over me team! Especially for those who were really emotional like Jay and Kuan Jui T_T Side note! Kuan Jui is actually super close friends with Hao but it was not shown much in the show. You could see though how chummy they are based on their body language <3 - Ep 11 is the Elimination and Ep 12 is the finale! So excited for the last 2 eps! Also ep 13 is a must watch as well! It's the audience's first time seeing ZB1 as a team after the finale and they are much more relaxed and happy hehe - Ep 12 has a lot of cute moments! You get too see more friendship dynamics. Also performances and ofcourse the ranking reveal. - A lot of favorites are leaving on ep 11 T_T

Ahhah bp was actually the first finale I cared about enough to watch live!! Especially bc of timezones like that adds a whole other layer of exhaustion to the wait lmao. I’m so glad I waited until iland was over too bc yeah fr 😭

jenn_sone

Sir Austin can you add Produce 48 to your list too? 😊😊

Evan Murray

Woongki claiming everyone as his husband should maybe feel familiar, huh? 😁 Oh... The word they're translating as "weird" is used to mean "gay but we're not saying gay" a lot. Don't make it weird, I feel weird, this is weird: it usually means a little bit gay. 🤣 One of my favorite moments is when Hanbin and Hao reach for each other without hesitation for the musical mission. Hanbin has mentioned that moment as a turning point in their relationship, and to me it's the first of so many times they show absolute trust in each other. Basically they haven't stopped holding hands ever since and I love it. There are several finale moments that are very much worth waiting for, and episode 13 is sooooooo worth watching 😁
