Borahae Besties!  I hope everyone had a nice relaxing week off!
I had a great week & slept a lot!

This is the first time I'm using the new Patreon Video feature!
I uploaded the reaction directly to Patreon so you should be able to watch the video right in the app or on the website without having to leave the page.

Please let me know if you have any issues with the video since this is my first time using the new feature!

I hope everyone is excited for all of the uploads this week!

Thanks for the reaction Austin! I'm only a few minutes in, but the song when Namjoon is on the bike is called "Bicycle." It was. gift for army for Festa 2021

I only have sound but no video

CC

Please go into music teacher mode more often! I took violin lessons for 13 years, and love hearing people talk about music and how to learn instruments. I’m so inspired by tae, who’s so extremely talented and successful and still chooses to learn new skills. And that pool party between him and j-hope was amazing (it reminded me of their burger drive in season one, I think the two of them especially really enjoy this kind of thing)

I’m sorry 😭 are you having the Patreon app? Or the website? They both maybe?

Erika Smith

haha the editing team is usually bleeping out brand names not curse words

Frayed

Hi Austin! Nice to see you again and I'm happy to hear you're well rested 💜 No issues for me with the new video player (both in app and via the Patreon website). I just got a notification today that my order for Jin's single is otw, and that's made me super happy 🧑‍🚀

Infinite Ree

The pool party with Tae and Hobi is literally my favorite scene out of this entire series. Tae's trumpet collab, Hobi in his cute little peach shorts just dancing and wiggling in the pool, and then for both Jimin and Joon to make cameos was just the icing on the cake. I've rewatched that scene *SO* many times. Lol And I totally get it bcuz I think Hobi is sexy too.....I mean we all saw that look he gave Tae. whew

RM

I prefer streamable tbh it has more functions like landscape mode without changing the direction on the phone and you can use other apps at the same time if you have it as a pop up player, this one is a bit inconvenient

Rue

I really enjoyed your "teacher mode" don't ever apologize!

karla francis

I’ve found that u don’t really need to understand Korean to have a general idea of what the dad joke is. If you listen carefully you can hear what words were repeated in the joke and you can pick up on what the wordplay was

Are you on Android or iOS? On my iPhone there is a pop out option for the video. Just have tap on it then hit the. Box in the top left. Not sure If it works in android 😭

RM
>>95031679

Yeah I have a Samsung (the bts edition one lol don't ask how much money I spontaneously dropped on this phone all in the name of bangtan) but I realized it gives you the pop up if you press the home button, still the landscape thing is annoying and patreons app tends to lag but definitely do the one that's convenient for you. Do you know their copyright policies and stuff so you don't get into trouble since this is paid content?

SirAustin
>>95031679

I’m not sure. It’s still new. But it’s safer for the creator because you have to be subbed to watch. With Streamable anyone can just share the link. What if you go to Patreon website instead of the app and watch the video that way? It might work better.

RM
>>95031679

No worries I'll figure it out 🙂 be careful tho so you don't loose anything. Patreon is usually good at answering questions maybe ask them about it for safety sake 🤔

>>95031679

Not sure what you're using, but those functions work fine on my Lenovo Tab (Android 10) and my Pixel phone (Android 13). The onscreen controls are similar to YT, so full screen mode should snap to landscape regardless of device orientation. For pop-up mode, hit the home button and then open another app. As long as it's not a media app like Spotify or YT, there shouldn't be any interruption in playback.

The Patreon Video is so high quality! Jin and Hobi both love tennis. When Jin said he was embarrassed to show coach, he was talking about his tennis coach. He's been playing several times a week for a while and has gotten good. Both Jin and Tae play golf, but I don't know how good they are. All the guys are animal lovers. When Jin's dog died it was so hard for him. Like J-Hope's Mickey and Jungkook's Gureum, Jjanggu had been Jin's family pet since he was pretty young. Jin has since had two sugar gliders who passed away, Ogeng and Eomuk. Jin is hilarious and loud, and competitive in a joking way, but he loves with all of his heart and that's the best thing about him. He wrote a song, Tonight, thinking about the pets he lost.

DAYDREAM

That song that you asked for at the beginning is 'So What' 3:41 the song is 'Fly to my room' 50:38 that song is telepathy

Sara

Both my mom and sister are music teachers, so I was actually so excited to show them this episode. I didn't mind the musician mode at all. I was also so impressed that Tae allowed himself to be filmed for this. It's such a vulnerable time when learning a new instrument. I personally would not like to be filmed when I'm starting to learn a new instrument so seeing him be so open is just so impressive to me.

Oleksandra Yakubenko

I don't know how much in US measurements Yoongi lifted, but his final was 70kg which is i think around 5-7 kg more than his actual weight, so basically he lifted his weight

Oleksandra Yakubenko

I love patreon video! I don't have to go to other website. And it stays on top even if you open yt app, to watch urgently video patrein actually stays on top oy yt app, and you can quickly return to patreon video!

Mary Leona Weaver

In case you don't know yet -- song at the beginning was So What. at 23:54 - Bicycle by RM. at 50:48 - Telepathy. The one playing over the next episodes' preview was Inner Child by V. and, yes, SUGA's guitar is a Johnny Cash guitar! This season is different, IMHO, because they kind of knew that this was for them to rest, and they really leaned in and relaxed, and also there is absolutely NO agenda/itinerary/planned activities. Those little moments you describe are what I live for...just them enjoying the moment.

Jae Oli

yes Austin their B sides are really good…they are I would call their core strength…you just can’t rely on title tracks to have a long term career in music.you seldom them perform their bsides or even never performs it , that makes you a fan to long for more.their discography is insane

Ro l

I hopefully for Jin birthday videos you react to his song tonight which he wrote for his pets that passed away. And his cover to a song call Mom. 🤍🤍

RM
>>95031679

Tami the pop up works but not the landscape, my controls are not like on yt that's why I preferred streamable but it's fine I'll just have to change the rotation on my phone. It's a samsung galaxy s20+ the purple heart bts one lol it's updated to the latest android version so that's not the issue

The website and it seems to only work on my phone but not on my PC. I don't get it

Julie Bourne

Austin!! Go watch Parasite!!

Sandra Hinojosa

I love the quality with the new Patreon video player!! I am watching through the app. I enjoyed your music teacher commentary!

AstronautInTHEboX

Tae played Pubg, he is mostly playing shooters/overwatch/Pubg/Fortnite and he and JK used to play Overwatch a lot, the rest played Starcraft, because Starcraft, is the only PC game that Hobi will play, he is usually a Console Player and plays FIFA/Soccer/Sport Games.

AstronautInTHEboX

Hoseok played Tennis when he was young, he and Jin going regularly out to play Tennis and Drink Beer.

I think it's about 165 lbs, which is more than Yoongi weighs (about 130 lbs). It seems he's doing well with his shoulder recovery.💜

roguechevelle
>>95028663

Yeah I was just about to say most the time it's brand names they bleep out like Season 1 they edited a bird chirp sound to edited out "Lego" brand for the stranger things set and added building blocks in the subs. Most the time they don't curse on camera except when they are scared but they aren't afraid to when they really want. Like the bangtan bomb where Jhope wakes up Suga by mistake and Suga immediately curses lol. That is the one thing you don't mess with is Suga's sleep in the old days especially, he used to stay up writing music til 2 or 3am at least and only sleep 4 hours then catch a nap when he could later but I think he has a way better sleep schedule now. I actually always appreciated they weren't afraid to curse in their music especially their older songs.

roguechevelle
>>95034560

Oh yes I was just coming on here to comment that too. Also 23:05 is RM's Bicycle which was released for free on soundcloud (& youtube) and I really hope they are able to officially release it when RM has his album drop because I adore that song so much.

roguechevelle
>>95036458

Yes most of the songs I love are their B sides, they are so good. They have iconic title tracks but I really fell hard for their music when I dove into their discography.

Tonight is gorgeous & I cried a lot the first time I heard it. It's really hard losing a pet. I lost my dog last year, he was very sick and died in my arms while I tried to rush him to a vet it was extremely traumatic and I still mourn him. He was my best friend and the best dog I've ever had. I'm glad Jin was able to write such a beautiful song in the memory of his pets.

roguechevelle

Loved this so much! I'm really glad you are enjoying this show. I love it so much and seeing them be able to relax enjoying free time that is healing makes me feel healed in a way.

Alix Drifty

I loved the trumpet knowledge! Don't apologize for it! I don't know anything about playing the trumpet, so it was fun to learn some things!

DAYDREAM

@roguechevelle OMG yes thank you for adding bicycle to this! I forgot to mention it

JoY

Austin I know you will be listening to bts albums eventually .Since you are watching in the soop how about reacting to the BE album. It's not connected to any of the other albums they have since you heard some of it during this series. 😊

JoY

One of my favorite episodes 🥰

kolea626

I played flute for 6 yrs / oboe for 3 yrs; for flute, embouchure is a must. But you develop the muscles for the embouchure so that it becomes second nature when you play your instrument and learn to control it as you become more proficient. V has a patient and encouraging teacher; V and the teacher don't think of the sounds as "noise", it's progress.

I've just lost my dog Frisson a few hours. To tell someone allows me to cry because I never cry on my own. Rest in peace FRISSON 🦋

Brittney Danielle

I forgot it was Saturday!!! Watching this now but stopping in the say the first song is So What. I thought you had seen it but maybe not 🤔 I’d have to go look lol. If you haven’t, the live and then the famous compilation of Tae and Jin with their part is a must.

Alix Drifty

I'm sure you know this by now - but Taehyung plays golf! Most of the time when they bleep them, they're saying brands rather than swearing - but they DO bleep them for swearing too. You can usually tell by context which kind of bleep it is (if they're talking about food, it's usually brands... if they're frustrated or annoyed, it's usually swearing.) If you get a chance, and want to cry, you should listen to Jin's song "Tonight" which is about his beloved pets that he's lost over the years. He really loved his dog, so yeah, that happening right before they had to film Mic Drop for a music show was not a good day for Jin. It really shows how much the members care for him that they all buckled down so that they could film the performance in one-take without rehearsal, so that Jin didn't have to be on stage/camera for long.

Lela

has anyone here tried hwachae? cause the combination of sprite, milk and fruit does not sound appealing haha but it probably tastes better than it sounds

AstronautInTHEboX

I wanted to ask, since BTS has over 300 B Sides, and Songs, are you doing normal reaction Videos on them? Or are you doing Album reactions, because their Albums are all Concept Albums, and most come out in 3 EPs that are connected, and tell a Story, and on top of the Album Story you have the Music Video Story of the BU, that goes through a few Albums as well. Or are doing the Solo Albums first since you started with Hope World?

Lela

57:10 Jimin is everything ahahaha the day that episode came out the tl was flooded with this moment

Lela

OMG I watch Maangchi too! Making her Tteokbokki recipe tonight :D The ramyeon from Parasite is Jjapaguri it's a mixture of the Jangjangmyeon ramyeon Tae made here and Neouguri ramyeon which is spicy and you eat it with steak. Also when they beep out stuff it's usually brand names not curse words (except for Hobi during that one dare hahaha)

I lost my dog a month ago. My first pet that I had to make the decision to put him to sleep. He was so sick. I can’t listen to Tonight right now. It’s too painful.

Venita Morse

I am finally getting around to watching this and I am having trouble with the quality. Usually I can change the video quality and now it is not letting me do it. It is not even giving me an option. Reading through the comments I think I am the only that is having trouble with it.

Deanna Wilson

Just me strolling through the comments to see if anyone let Austin know that Tae is an avid golfer and damn good at it!

Ally Ferreras

Hi Austin! Thank you for uploading! For some reason, Im having a hard time navigating the video. I too am having trouble with the quality option and I don't see any issues with my internet since I tried comparing it to other videos. I tried downloading the video to check if I'll be able to watch with highest quality but its not letting me download the video. 😭

sevendwys

Tae actually loves to golf, he goes golfing with his dad and friends quite often. He soooo good at it too lol
