Omg the elevator prank 😂 I think it’s pretty clear that Jin, namjoon and yoongi clocked it right away lol bc why else would such a random and dramatic situation happen to them during some kind of audition or something they’re supposed to be doing? Lol I duno but their reactions say it all.. especially yoongi and Jin. Jin was SO shy at the time but the way he kept looking at the camera gave him away a bit.. yoongis snart he knows what happens on these shows and this ridiculous scenario pops up and they figure why not go with it! Super cute. I was laughing when tae said he thought she was a ghost lol ?!? Jk was a fetus… she got any closer she may go to jail for it lol and aww poor sweet hobi .. he was so flustered and trying to explain himself… I mean out of all the positions he could have been in… that had to be one of the worst lol ah god I just love them. They’re such a special group of guys and so much than just music, videos and looks… everything about them and their journey has made them so special. I’m so proud of these guys

Armystic

53:00 yeh if you watch jungkook hits it to crack it open but instantly turns his hand to a scoop to catch most of the egg before it went all over Jin lol love their bond

moonbeamss_

You will come to learn that poor Jimin and Yoongi had terrible luck when it came to the penalty game 🤣

Cute Bunn

If you noticed Jhope wore a mask in the elevator prank. He use to wear a mask because people called him ugly. All I see is a cutie pie who grew up to be gorgeous.

Lela

Oh My God 🤣

Infinite Ree

Yaaaaaaassss! This series is so much fun and so many reactors skip it. Thank you Austin. You're gonna have blast 😂

SirAustin

Sorry. Patreon is being weird right now. I’m having trouble seeing the comments. I’ll check back later. 🙏

nessa

i was not expecting this AT ALL, thank you austin!

Mel

I haven't watched yet but I'm excited! I have such a soft spot for Rookie King - it's like a proto Run BTS but even more unhinged somehow 😂

mel

omgggg i had not expected rookie king!! baby bangtan is just sooo 🥺😭

CC

You’re watching rookie king?! Was not expecting this at all haha, hope you have fun! They were adorable back then (but prepare for some cringe too lmao)

SNBangtan

I LOVE Rookie King so much. j-hope's hair like that?? Like I can't help but crush so hard.

roguechevelle

🤣Well I'm glad your enjoying it. The editing, voice over, & pranks that mnet does are just a little much for me. I had watched all their early bangtan bombs before seeing this and thought the members were entertaining on their own lol. Other precursor shows to Run BTS released on Vlive that they made with their own crew is BTS bokbulbok (also known as Lucky Draw) which has 5 episodes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wllpOFVUYk&t=323s and BTS Gayo which had 15 episodes or "tracks" as they are called https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRcz0brBEWk&list=PL9qzERkEHGZlzmKsM-kTVEZ4RtHnu3LtH These shows are on Weverse now but when I looked them up they didn't have English Subs which is strange cuz they did when they were on VLive Bokbulbok https://weverse.io/bts/media/3-104695710?hl=en and BTS Gayo https://weverse.io/bts/media/1-105471065?hl=en

Ah the infamous elevator prank. I LOST IT when Hobi was on the floor and the lady walked in. Lololololololol Why is Hobi so extra and so precious? Jim was such a gentleman and Suga was like, welp got a captive audience, guess you gone see me dance today 😂

kookmineve

I visited their Dorm and that restaurant they were eating in myself back in June, I also got to meet the two owners too (the lady and her husband) and they asked who my biases were and when I said Jungkook and Jimin they gave me photos and cup sleeves, the whole restaurant is filled (and I mean filled) with bts photos now, the food is so so good too

SirAustin

Aww. That’s sweet! I want to go and visit the BTS aunt! 😂💜

LOU

This show made me fall in love with them. I'm an ARMY of 2017 but their old shows were the ones that really introduced them to me especially Rookie King and AHL. I just love them so much.

Daydream⁷

Rookie King!! It will be so much fun! Watching my little babies again🥹

Kellzie

Baby Bangtan!!! I both love and hate this show. 😂 Like you said there are some cringy parts. But the rest is really good. I love the sports section the best. 🏀 They are just the cutest things ever!!! But it will be on the next episode. I wish I could have known them back then and followed their careers. I feel like I have missed so much. Thankfully, there is so much content over the years I can feel like I was there even if I wasn’t. Love BTS Forever! 💜 The Elevator *UGH* They were trying to make it awkward and see their reactions. The part I really really hated is that JK was only around 15 years old there I think since it was in 2013. Still a minor and they do that. Thankfully she didn’t get right up on him like she did with the older ones. So glad BTS created Run BTS. It was so sweet how Jin responded though. He is the sweetest thing. He being the oldest and been to college, he was more mature and experienced in life than the others and could more easily handle the awkward situation. The others didn’t know what to do. Hobi was just ticked she was messing up his recording. LOL. The Satoria Rap with just the three isn’t on an album though there is a lyrics video on youtube. With all 7 singing it is called Paldogangsan and I believe it is on O!RUL8t2 album. There is a live performance video of it. If I have gotten any of that wrong, hopefully, someone will correct me. 💜

What a surprise! Whenever you get to albums and concerts is good! There's no deadlines on any of this stuff, and you publish a lot of content as it is while having an actual job! The titles for BTS concerts can be confusing, because before Love Yourself, they did them as a trilogy, similar to their album trilogies. So Wings is CALLED something like "Episode III" because it's their third tour of something that they see as a trilogy of tours. But you're still only buying the one tour, not the complete trilogy... like buying Return of the Jedi, instead of a box set of the original Star Wars movies.

lelmDR.WHO

Not you doing Rookie King!!! so many people forget about this show! but it's basically beta "Run BTS." This and they're old BokBulBok show on YouTube

Laurie

It's Baby Bangtan . . . they were still working out how to be the best performers in the history of the universe. I love Rookie King, cringe and all.

lelmDR.WHO

My actual favorite thing is when people make compilation videos of BTS commercials they've done for varios brands and will put in some of the commercial parodies from Rookie King!!!! XD XD

Alix Drifty

Also, I have two old ipods and they both still work! The oldest of them has 8gb of songs, but if you put it on shuffle it basically just plays a playlist that it invented itself and never strays from.

In the more recent run bts eps they got to visit old places, suga wanted to go inside the restaurant but it has been an army place to visit so no he can't d

SNBangtan

Fun fact: Taehyung said in a variety show interview that the rapline's pre-debut performance of Satoori Rap is what made him decide to sign with Big Hit. People sometimes thing that the members joined in rapid succession but the rappers all came in in 2010 (Joon in September, Yoongi in November, and Hobi in December--though Hobi was already signed with Big Hit prior to that (before Joon), he wasn't added to the lineup until about a month after Yoongi). And then it was the three of them and a handful of other rappers including Supreme Boi (who is now an in-house producer for BTS), E11ven, Iron, and several others. But it eventually ended up with just our trio and they performed as BTS until vocal line members started to be added. Jin and Jungkook first (within like a day of each other), then Tae, then finally Jimin just months before debut.

Army Nia

Jimin and Suga were the ones who got the most punishments in Rookie King 🤣

Lane. L.

I totally understand that you have your work that keeps you busy. We got time while we wait for all the members to be complete by 2025. As for Vibe, it was such a vibe indeed. 😉 To be fair, Taeyang was great too. I have heard of Eyes, Nose and Lips as well, so he must have good music. Anywho, am looking forward to you finishing BV S3. 💜

Linda

Wow, I never watched any of these before. Cool.

Jazmine

Interesting that you’re looking at some Taeyang songs this week. Later in the season, the vocal line does a live performance, like the rap line did this episode. They cover Taeyang’s “You’re My.”

People complain about anything and everything - you noticed how fans were kneeling? The Idols sit down during the fan signs because these things go on for quite a while and the fans literally kneel down and move along from idol to idol for their allotted time. Of course, it doesn't last as long as they want (I'm sure!), but people say "Why should fans kneel in front of their idols? It seems like they're being placed in a worshipping position." But it's actually places them so that they interact so much more closely idol-to-fan. Nowadays with the acrylic screens (because of COVID) or if you're doing an online fan sign, there is ZERO physical interaction. Of course, there are times that is a good thing because I've read of some fans crossing boundaries, but for the most part, most fans are respectful. BTW, I've seen newer groups / fan signs use chairs now instead of kneeling, especially when using the acrylic screens. Kneeling seems to be a thing of the past.

I’ve never watched Rookie King but I’ve watched clips of the elevator prank on youtube years ago when I started my BTS journey. I’m so excited to watch this with you! 💜
