The cooking competition was fun. I cringe through most of the card game though. I hate seeing them endure the punishments. I think those kinds of games were common back then in SK. They were such babies back then I just want to protect them. Most of the next episode is really good.

The seaweed soup was because it's tradition to eat seaweed soup on your birthday. Yes baby Tae had cute ears!

I love jikook together at the end, they were such babies, It makes my heart melt so much watching compilations of them growing up together and seeing their bond develop. I don't think I've ever seen two people who click as much as they do, the fact they're both from Busan just makes iy even sweeter too

Foetus Bangtan were so precious. But yes in the early days cooking and them did not mix. Only Yoongi and Jin had any semblance of experience… Tae and RM were the least experienced in the kitchen… and somewhat of a liability… I forgot how often and endearingly Yoongi used to complain of the writers having a vendetta against him and his always cool bluffing during tasks. Jimin and Yoongi were the original unlucky hands. I also forgot Jimin’s muscle man nickname of that era. Same as Jin’s Bangtan’s Mother nickname in all the captions. Namjoon was defo always smooth and camera ready esp in how well he mc’d etc. JK and Tae especially were the cutest little mischievous cinnamon rolls. Tae esp used to love dressing up (he used to take part in his school drag shows etc) so the Tiara was extra cute on him. Hobi used to be especially extra those days but also extra serious in dolling out the punishments… I’m loving re-living the Rookie King days with you. 💜
