Bestie u literally made my night, thank u so much🫶🏻💜

젠

wow! thank you

Amanda P

Ooh yay! Let's go! Also I think the next concert you watch should definitely be 2021 muster sowoozoo, it's iconic (there's a day 1 and 2 of it)!

Astrid Miezan Jakobsen

Your a lifesaver, had a bad morning and saw this thank you very much

Nicole

Austin!!! This is amazing and so unexpected. Can’t watch it now, but I can’t wait until I can tomorrow night. Thank you thank you!!! 💜💜💜 I’m so glad the boys bring you so much joy 💜

Amanda P

Yes hobi made bracelets on a vlive and army trended "he's making bracelets" on Twitter and locals found it and were so confused but also found it wholesome lol

Amanda P

Sorry to keep commenting haha but I wanted to say that the concert they kept talking about was they did an online version of the map of the soul tour that was supposed to happen, so they did a huge online concert in October of 2020 so that's what they kept mentioning, it's where they first performed Ugh and Zero O'clock so that's why they showed the short performances. I highly recommend watching that concert too (map of the soul on:e)! It was absolutely amazing and they were so emotional during it too since they had to cancel the actual tour

dani

YAAAAAY! also will you be doing the wings tour final in the future?

Yes highly recommend Map of the Soul ON:E concert! Plus I'm pretty sure Austin will know all the songs for it.

roguechevelle

This was a lovely gift, thank you so much truly. This brightened my day sm. I remember watching this and be delighted by the remix Boy with Luv performance among many others of course. This is why I think they need to release a live album because they have so many great concert remixes and arrangements that I would love an official release of one being the remix of Dionysus for Map of the Soul ON:E concert which I can't recommend enough. We finally got to see the performance they had been planning for so long that we were suppose to see in person. I remember when the tour got canceled, I bawled my eyes out I was so devastated honestly I'm still traumatized by the whole thing. It would have been my first bts concert (I still haven't been able to see them at this point) and I had damn good seats in Atlanta lol. I know non-army wouldn't understand why I took it so hard but everything was falling apart in my life at about that time I was going through an awful divorce, had to move back with my mom and sell the house I'd lived in. The one thing I kept hold of during those times was getting to see them so yeah it hit pretty hard. But this online concert and Map of the Soul ON:E was a comfort that helped bare things. I'm so glad you decide to react to this, I was grinning so much watching this that my cheeks were hurting by the end lol. 💜

mel

OMG AUSTIN YAY!! i looove this concert so much omg 😭😭

Sarah F

i think initially the MOTS tour was postponed, not cancelled since things were still uncertain and at this point they were still holding out hope that they could do the tour since they had prepared all of it but then it got completely cancelled so they did it through a live instead. they tried really hard to be positive for armys during this time but it was also very clear they were having a tough time. they ended up not performing in front of armys for like 2 & a half years :(

Lela

Austin stop 😭 I have so many of your videos to catch up on

What a great surprise! Answers: 1. Bang Bang Con the Live was the concert for BTS's 7th anniversary (in June) - that's why RM said "Happy Birthday, BTS" at the end of Just One Day - it's BTS birthday. Usually at the end of that song, RM says "Will you please stay with me?" - he switched it up to celebrate their birthday instead. 2. Suga did indeed sleep in the studio a lot in the old days. I think definitely most of the time because he was working too hard - but also, they all slept in one room for the first few years - I think sleeping in the studio was a way to be slightly further from RM's snoring and get a little bit more personal space. 3. At this point, the tour was only postponed - they still were hoping that they'd be able to do it. Another reason for your confusion is that there's two events called Bang Bang Con (one was a marathon of old concerts that aired in April - which is the result google gave you) and the other was this streamed concert which was in June. They didn't actually cancel the tour until August. They did 2 days of streaming concerts called "Map of the Soul ON:E" in October instead. It's another absolutely amazing concert, but also another emotional one as the pandemic dragged on and they tried their best to keep spirits up. 4. Spring Day is Jin's favourite song. They don't usually end on it - they did it special here because it's a song about waiting for a long lonely period of time to be over and being hopeful that you'll be re-united with old friends soon. They sang it often during the pandemic because of it that theme. Having the choreo with it was very special too, since I don't believe they'd performed it with the choreo since the Wings tour ended in 2017. That was a lot of fun to watch again! I hadn't watched it in full since they first streamed it. They really did an amazing job. I remember holding it together until that ending screen came up and then bursting into tears. The vocals really are amazing.

you are spoiling us too much thank u !! edit: I JUST LAUGHED OUT LOUD BECAUSE OF 15:00 !! about boys with fun :((((

Diane

You just made my day Austin! 💜 thank you for the great surprise!!! I’m gonna go watch it now! 🙌🏼☺️

kookmineve

I highly recommend watching the MOTS:ONE online concert which happened October 2020, but also especially the behinds the scenes extras from that DVD, you really get to see an insight into what they were thinking about during that time

Armystic

Always love watching with you!!! Jungkooks vocals and thighs are always highlights for me as well lol the man is just gorgeous and his body… I mean… Calvin Klein lol but yeh they all were so good and def felt emotions and they show it even if they can’t say it… but the amount of reassurance to me is just next level. BTS is so special and their bond with army is just different.. you can’t explain it until you’re in it. Loving all the solo projects but I really miss seeing them together on stage… I will graciously wait for them tk comeback some day and support them always… but can’t help missing them together lol so fun! Can’t wait for you to react to the sowoozoo muster which was insane and the energy and vibe they were so free and having so much fun… ugh you’ll love it. Also the MOTS concert you’ve seen some of but that one is another one looking forward to you seeing… speak yourself … so many fun things to view when you can! You’re the best !

The original contract Debut 2013 - 2020 7 years together that's why one of the reasons there "last" album is called MAP OF THE SOUL 7 . MOTS 7 tour was technically going to be like the closing that chapter. That year they were going to do lots of touring and events. Then I believe that's when the whole military was going to happen. jin was supposed to leave and solo stuff was going to happen. Then, everything shut down in 2020 due to covid so all original plans were on hold. You know everything was undecided, and then bts released Dynamite to comfort army during a hard time. Then chaos happened bts were every where online, commencement speech during YouTube’s virtual “Dear Class of 2020″ graduation, jimmy fallon week they started in the soop .Then they got nominated for a grammy for dynamite and well you know. In 2018, bts actually renewed/extended there contract for another 7 years . So the new contract would be 2018-2025 = 7. 💜

CM

Hi Austin, I don’t really comment that much but watching you fall in love with BTS has been so much fun! You’re always so genuine and sweet and I just enjoy spending this time watching with you. I just wanted to say that I appreciate you. Have a lovely day 💜

Mel

Watching this with you even though I just rewatched it about 10 days ago while I was building my Lego Dynamite set. It took me way too long to put that set together because I kept stopping to watch the concert 😂 Their visuals are too distracting!

Zahraa

Love your reactions as always. This was a great suprise! Map of the soul ONE concert is another online concert I recommend you watch 💜

naynay

I still remember crying when they close the door lol 🤣🤣 bts literally the only thing that made me happy during those depressing time.. im glad things are better now

Moonchild87

OMG Austin, thank you for this unexpected reaction! I totally needed this today!💜

Steph K

I'm very excited that you're reacting to this. I've never seen this either -- except watching your reactions to individual songs. This concert definitely gave me early 2020 vibes when we were all experimenting with technology and ways to communicate with each other. On another note, I think you should get a new cardboard cut out every time one of the boys enlists! 😂 Also: "This song is so fun, if I find out it's about poverty or something..." LOL the plight of every international Army.

Andredayyy

This was before everything completely fell apart in 2020 or before they we knew it had come undone anyway and they were WERKING this entire online concert. W E R K I N G

Vartite

Yay - this was fun! BTW, you really must check out their version of the Wizard of Oz (Jin was the Tin Man, and just thinking about that makes me laugh). It was originally a radioplay on KKUL-FM (Suga hosted an annual radio show for Festa - this one was on Vlive) and there's a Bangtan Bomb version with video, which is even funnier (pro tip: don't leave sweets near Kookie 😂).

Becky

Thanks for spoiling us Austin! Loved this concert so much though it's a little sad seeing there was still some hope for map of the soul tour happening then 😢 I'd really recommend checking out the Map of the Soul ON:E concert, it's really amazing 💜

NoxVioleta

We are so spoiled, Sir! What a fantastic surprise! I love Bang Bang Con the Live and seeing your reaction, emotions, and thoughts was lovely! I'm actually so glad you checked it because as you said the audio quality is SO MUCH BETTER than whatever is uploaded into yt (same with all the online concerts like the MOTS ON: E - another one that you could check out eventually!)

Suzanne Marcotte

First time watching this. Thank you so much Austin 🪄💖 Their voices improved so much and the audio is ❤️ V🦋can pull a flowery shirt like no one else 🌼🌸

Branka VMin

ahh this really made my day, i just went here to relax watching bon 4yage and saw this <3333

Branka VMin

Also watching this after the JK x CK pics and clips is gonna put me through hell

Olive7

I'm glad it's working! I'm not sure what the problem was but a few peopel said they had issues too. Blame Patreon! LOL

젠
>>105260563

yeah, so glad it's ok now. was kinda worried I won't be able to watch Jinny's Kitchen with you tom lol. anyways, I feel the same way with Friends... I get teary eyed on the chorus lol

dlf28

Aww this was a nice surprise! I haven’t seen this in full since it aired. I think my favorites are Jamais Vu and the ‘supposed to be fun not sexy’ Go Go and Anpanman performances.😅 Also, one of my favorite things about your reactions is when you say ‘Sir!’ and then proceed to get flustered because … SAME! Thanks for the great watch!

Kayc Espiritu

I have to ask, what headphones are you using? I love how they look! Also, in the most non-creepy and "I just noticed and am admiring it" kind of way, you have the prettiest eyes and eyelashes!

Kayc Espiritu

Bangbangcon was my first BTS concert. This is close to my heart. I'm glad you got to see it 💜

Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT PB Wireless Over-Ear Headphones Limited Edition (Purple) They are kind of expensive now because they were limited. But they were cheaper when I bought them 2 years ago.

minsyub
>>105323352

Same it was my first concert too 💜 Hopefully, Agust D will be the next

Sunnie

Oh my god, Boys with Fun is such a chaotic early Bangtan bop— you need to watch the original + the compilation of Taehyung leading the dance, part of the choreo was him doing something random each time and the boys having to instantly copy him, it was CHAOS

Kellzie

Loved this concert experience. Their voices and sounds were so clear. The audio quality was wonderful. I loved it so much I went and purchased it so I can watch it repeatedly and have it for always. Will you be going to Yoongi’s concert? After seeing the teaser for his Road to D-Day documentary, I am even more excited if that is possible. He has been traveling the world to experience new music and genres. From the video, it looks like we will be getting folksy and possible rocker Suga/Agust D along with no telling what else. I truly hope they will include the concerts in the documentary but it sounds like this will release before his tour. Pretty sure now his album will drop before the tour. Knowing him, he will probably release it the day before the first concert just cause he can. 😂

Cute Bunn

The only ASMR I like is carpet cleaning lol. The rest hurts my brain. Suga singing on his birthday live while playing the guitar. Iconic.

EKMontie

So many things to comment on this one and I've probably forgotten half of them! 1) Please react to Just One Day Dance Practice (Appeal Version). It's hilarious to watch Tae losing it over Joon's actions. 😂 Link: https://youtu.be/zNJMa43UVs0 2) Boys with Fun is SUCH a fun song! 3) This version of Boy With Luv with amazing, and ARMY refer to it as the Gay Disco version. 4) I would love an entire album of concert remixes. I would also love them to remake their albums with the current voices, because as you said, you can tell they sound different. BTS all sounded amazing in the beginning, but they still have all grown and improved more! 5) This is the sexiest performance version of Go Go to exist. 6) I know I had other thoughts, but I can't remember them now. I should take notes for a reaction this long! 😂

Shreya

You are adorable...Yes, he said to text me and we will respect their privacy hehe...You are just so sweet and genuine...I will never get over your honesty and expression
