omg yay :D I love starting the weekend with run bts (and you ofc haha) these are some iconic episodes

Infinite Ree

I definitely giggled at "I guess this is why you gotta pay for the behind.... the scenes" At least that's how I heard it 😉 Great reaction as always!

Laïka

Suga has a very pretty feminine face but people don't notice it bc it's covered over by a massive amount of attitude and swag 😎

Bea

These older run episodes I think I only saw once so it's great watching them again w/ u...I was so distracted at then end of the cop one cause of the hair sticking up, then in the behind u c how it got that way and it's so funny. But even more so when u realize the guys don't even react, the just go along w/ it😁

This is a weird thing to point out, but I love the way yoongi acted as a woman, he took the role completely seriously/straight-faced. I think sometimes (presumably) cis men get very uncomfortable dressed up as women and make a joke/parody out of it, and the “man in a dress” joke can go in very weird (sexist/transphobic) directions if not done well, so I love the way yoongi handled it - it shows a maturity and a huge comfort within himself and respect towards women (who are also just people 😅) It makes me smile to see some of the members lean into femininity sometimes (like JK’s latest Calvin Klein shoot with the croptop, or Jimin’s half make-up in Like Crazy, Jimin’s fake bigender tattoo for a photo shoot a few years ago, Yoongi’s photo shoot where he was covered in crystals… etc.) Also, yes, Yoongi’s so pretty!! I love rewatching the Run BTS eps with you, thank you!

Oh never mind, ignore my comment lmao - I watched a bit further and you said the exact same thing 🙈

I mentioned this in my reaction! I loved that he just embraced it. They didn't try to do the whole 'man in a dress' thing. He was just playing a pretty girl and he killed the role. LOL!

I really appreciated your commentary on Yoongi's portrayal as a woman. I totally agree. I love shows like Ru Paul's Drag Race but there are queens every season whose characters feel more like a caricature of women and they say things like "she's stupid and slutty and has big boobs" about their persona and it feels so offensive to me and just bad for women. I definitely prefer takes that are not just exploiting deeply sexist stereotypes for laughs but are rather being respectful of women as people and are playing a character as an homage. So Yoongi as Yoonji always stuck out to me as a very respectful portrayal of a woman by a man. We love Min Yoonji in this fandom. She's powerful and funny and in charge. To this day, BTS and Yoongi still reference her.

Kame

Yoongi as Min Yoonji is epic! He was so good, cute and so respectful as a girl. his is one of my fave episodes from all Run BTS episodes. Def. in my Top 5! I love your reactio when Jin danced/body rolled "I guess this is why you got to pay for the behind scenes". The cop episode is funny but not as good as the school episode.

Farhana

Omg Austin, amazing reaction. Min Yoonji is an icon and so sassy. The members still talk about that skit. Also funny you mention Running Man, the bts members once did an episode all 7 on running man (IT was hilarious and worth watching) and recently Jin also did a running man episode solo before he left. Both episodes I'd recommend

Yes I love that Yoongi will sometimes talk about how Yoonji is doing or army will ask him about her etc
