I love that their lyrics are not gender focus

honestly i've never noticed any sort of toxic masculinity from skz and it's really nice, like they're the type of guys i (a very obviously queer person) would be 100% comfortable around. like you said, they just feel safe 💗

hello! thanks for the reaction! i’m glad u mentioned them being a safe place because i def think that stray kids have been able to build a dedicated and strong community because of it and im glad ur able to see that and feel that as well! i think they are able to do so with their music and outside of that as well and its unfortunate that people who don’t dive more into their music outside of title tracks or into stray kids personality get to see that. they try to create gender neutral lyrics and lyrics that not only them but others can relate to as well and outside of that they are comfortable in their own skin. they are emotionally intelligent and are capable of having emotions and aren’t afraid to show that and share those emotions with eachother and others. they have been able to create a safe space within music and outside of that by just being unapologetically themselves and being comfortable and inclusive and it’s all genuine, like they genuinely feel and believe all those things and they prove it day in and day out with everything they put out. they are just genuine and good artists but people as well. stays can relate to them and their music a lot and it’ll always be a different and special type of connection and community. i hope u always feel safe and comforted by them and continue to enjoy ur time with them just as much as others have been able to and im sure I and others have been enjoying ur skz journey as well. have fun and take care always!

Safe is a good word. Watching them is like watching a walking green flag family. I know it is not 100% real but it still restores my faith in people a little. In their music I loved that when they touch on topic of relationships it is multidimensional and could be interpret on at least few levels. They rly don't do "I love you lalala, I I miss you lalala" songs. They just clicked with me and I am usually very cynical.

Honestly I think part of the reason for choosing special effects makeup rather than beauty makeup is just that it's more complex and takes more time. They wouldn't have enough screen time if they just did simple winged eyeliner look. With SFX there's also more dramatic difference between "before" and "after" so it can be seen as more entertaining

I agree. It's definitely more entertaining to watch. But they still handled the makeup without being weird or uncomfortable.

Don't worry about not noticing lee know in the rainism stage! you wouldn't have a reason to be studying the back up dancers and he's not easy to spot unless you know he's there.

Now I've looked again without stopping to write what I wanted to say about your comments in between, haha. I'll try to remember: In the early Stray Kids days, Chan was often seen cooking, so I don't think he tends to be a bad cook. I think he added extra water because he used so much gochujang. He was probably hoping that it would lose some of its spiciness. But of course the main problem in general was that he had cooked the rice cake beforehand. And yes, Chan is not good at spicy food. This is well known among the members, which is why they always like to trick Chan into eating spicy food without knowing it. When Seungmin and Felix made those fish waffles (which you saw the clip of), they also made one with something spicy and gave it to Chan without him knowing it was spicy. We weren't there live, but Seungmin proudly told us about it in his bubble, haha. If you look at all the results, it's super interesting that the award always went to the person who "didn't win" - Chan, Felix, Hyunjin. Minho was the only exception and he was really good. Stray Kids is really a safe place for the fans, no matter what orientation and no matter what other problems Stay have, with SKZ they are simply in good hands. Sure, they have the SKZ Family content where members dress up as women, but you'll see that it's not cringe at all and there are no bad thoughts behind it. They simply portray a very...chaotic...family. Music is of course a matter of taste, but nobody can say that any of the kids have a nasty character or anything like that. That's why I like SKZ so much and that's why I like your reactions to SKZ content so much. You're also unbiased and have lovely/funny comments on everything. So thank you for finding SKZ ;)
