Good morning!

I was updating code and realized I hadn't shared a preview for this scene. It was meant to be shared on Veterans Day.

Artemis features a lot of custom assets to help shape the world around it. Even Artemis herself has heavy modifications. She's an HD mesh and the "android" parts required a lot of work to remove/modify to get the look she has now. The shot above I really enjoyed putting together and is a scene I've been waiting to work on since CH2. I get asked a lot about MC's parents and this scene will finally start exploring that part of his story.

On the Blender side of things, I hit minor bump. And I was curious what issue this scene might cause. The mall scene in CH5 was large in scale from location to population. This scene in CH6 takes place in the bigger part of the city with lots going on. I found a fix but it wasn't what I expected. Blender kept complaining about running out of resources (VRAM), but felt that might have been an error as I was able to preview things without an issue. So, I decided maybe I can just disable one of the GPUs. Sure enough the scene finally rendered. Great thing about Blender is you can fire up multiple windows. My solution was just open another, load the scene needed and toggle the GPU to work on that specific job. Very stupid. Very technical. But its times like this where I look at my degree in computer science and take a big huff of copium that I pursued that :')

Thank you guys for your support and I hope you all have a great week.

Stay warm and cozy

Thanks for the update Digi! We all appreciate the effort you put into making Artemis! I hope your development continues to go well with less minor bumps along the way. Have a great week and stay safe and warm out there everyone ❤️

Hello digi.B, that picture is breathtaking. I like it incredibly good. What you keep describing shows us how much you put yourself into your game. I've said it many times before: the effort you put into creating things yourself is pure madness. And we love you for that. I hope that Blender and DAZ will give you a bit of a break and that everything will work better. You deserve it. I wish you and everyone else a good time and stay healthy.

At what point do you think it is too late to add your name to the credits?

Have no fear, 5090 almost here, 33% MOAR VRAM. More Bus, More GBPs. Moar Cocaine Bear?

Any time before a release is made, names get added. I double checked and you're already listed in the credits :)

I've just finished the current build. I enjoyed the game very very much. Story is developing nicely, there is a lot of content and the quality is very high. Maybe I'd prefer some more free roams (I like them) but that's just me. I like all of the characters. Katy is not my type really (too extrovert), her sister seems just mean so I'm still with her on that one. The rest of Li's it's hard to chose really. Considering the energy, the history, and the state of the relationships overall Kindra and June just steal the show but Zelda is a close third. Artemis herself, well I don't have kids but it really feels like raising a child. She's too cute and too naive for her own good but I can feel the emotions starting to build and responsibilities that come with all of this. I'm also interested how will you approach those questions and concerns regarding AI technology (very up to date subject) and the in-game choices regarding that. I hope you're well and you'll be able to continue working with passion cuz' I can feel it in every scene and every character you've created
