There was an audio issue if you call Reina after the real estate scene. The ambient sound failed to turn off when the scene transitioned has now been fixed.I also updated the line between Jack and Wolvy. Instead of Jack calling Wolvy "Sir", I updated it to "Gunny".Various spelling errors were corrected.

Since this is a minor code fix, I attached just the code file to this post. This way you don't have to download the entire 4GB update. Drop the file into the Artemis/game folder and you're set. For MAC users, follow the video guide. Steps are the same for this file.

If you're having issues with loading a save, download the save_fixer.rpy attached to this post. Move it inside the game folder in Artemis and re-launch the game. It's not a guaranteed fix, but does have a high success rate.

You're doing great work, @Digi. Well done. Very much intrigued about HUNTER, especially the collision of his value system with Artemis's new-found value for life. I won't say more, but I WANT TO!!!! Have a good vacation; you deserve it! (sorry I am posting all over the wall here; I'm a little bit wired)

If you're starting new playthroughs from the newest build, is the save fix file still needed?

I solved the save problem by replaying the entire game, and redoing each branch :) works like a charm. plus, my memory is poo so I relearned a lot. Take care, your Awesome!!!

True. It's the where the game links are. If you have the Steam version, the v0.7.1 update dropped around 13:00PST. I'm sorry if I don't understand how to best help you.

No. The save fix addresses issues with the save file and the fact that even unchanged code gets shuffled around by ren'py in the recompile. New games will create save files based on the current code, so no issues, mate.

Good! There's so much good stuff that's easy to forget over the dev cycle. I always make lots of to be continued saves, but I also don't mind playing from scratch all over, unless there was something I got to by chance and I don't remember how. I try not to use walk-throughs until I find something I just can't unlock in the gallery. Once I have gotten my fun and I want all available content, I might use URM to get the stragglers I couldn't figure out, but I never have w/ Artemis. Some games are more fun to try to figure out on my own.

Do I have to replay the game for the animations to work? I added the patch but the animations for destiny and monique scene still has the screen that says the animation will be added in update 7.1, both if I play the scene in the gallery or through a save

I'm a $5 Supporter and it's not there. I didn't have the Steam version. At this point I just gave up and got it somewhere else. This version was supposed to be when the GAME was released for $5. The patch isn't very useful without the game.

In the part in the soroity introducing artemis there is a frame with dialogue that goes past the screen before the sentence is complete. So not all of the dialog is readable

Click it. It still plays the scene you got in-game. I assumed there must be a variation, which explains why it says it's partially corrupt or similar.

I still get the scene whether its in a save or from opening it in the gallery, but the animation is still not playing, was asking because I thought this patch added all the animations

Sorry, but no where does it state that. The membership description itself also states what is provided as well as the pinned post that's been there for a week leading to T-800 release states its patch only.

I just double checked and its working as intended. It's also impossible for the old 'to be included patch' image to show because that call is no longer present. Only thing I can think of is making sure the version does state 0.7.1 (main menu, upper right corner). If you're loading right in the middle of the scene (where it has the placeholder image), that could also be your issue since it's saving a snapshot of that save point and loading the old code for that image. Load an earlier save (where you're talking to Dominique and Destiny after cleaning is where I tested) and it'll load the animation properly there.

Well, then there's no reason to continue supporting. The patch alone is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

Is there a walkthrough on how to get any of the scenes or what paths to take for gallery scenes that are yet to be unlocked? Thanks in advance for any help and love your work!

so, I realize it's not a priority, but will there be achievements for book 2

There are a few walkthroughs out there, but one is still at v0.6.x and the other is v0.5.x. That said, I think the ones I don't have unlocked yet weren't obvious, but I was able to intuit what was needed by seeing the ones I had unlocked on either side of the locked one(s). I think, at this point, your best bet is to use 0x52 URM and look for hidden path choices.

New comment on an old post, but did the save file patch affect "skippable" content? ie. I can't skip over stuff I've seen before after adding that patch

patch shouldn't have done anything to the config. To skip content, go into the config menu, under game settings and look for "skip" and click "unseen text" it'll now be blue and you can skip content again.
