Artemis DevLog - CH5 (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Real sorry for the late post, I wanted to drop the 4.2 patch along with this devlog and I try not to bug you guys with too many notifications. I was curious about the memories section and glad I decided to double check it after clearing the persistent file. It took me a while to find a solution but I found one and works great. Because the changelog is lengthy, I'll post the txt file to this devlog again. The file is almost a gig large because I merged some core files to existing archives of the base game. I didn't want anyone to expect any new content due to its size. Also, there is an updated scene between June and MC at the Halloween party along with a special render to accompany it. As well as added renders if you kiss DJ Kink at the party and have a certain amount of points with Zelda. And includes the remastered scene for CH1 with MC's mom. Other than that, mostly asset updates for a sleeker looking UI, QoL changes, various bug fixes, spelling corrections and other items all outlined in the txt file.

After CH4's release, I had mentioned this patch would be available for all tiers. So I'm posting the links here for this patch. Update post will be updated shortly.

Progress has been steady for CH5. There's a big scene I'm gearing up for which is the mall scene. Hoping to take what I learned from the Halloween party and dive into this one. That said, this last 4090 I purchased may be the last I purchase as I plan to move onto workstation grade GPUs. Which have double the vram. More vram basically means I can squeeze more into a scene. With the Halloween party, there was a lot of stop and go because I kept hitting the vram limit of the 3090s and I had to come up with solutions on the spot to make the scene work. Because when you hit the vram limit, the renders don't slow down or anything like that. The render fails completely, giving you a black image. So, doubling the headroom will allow me to do more with scenes.

Regarding the poll, someone posted a better idea and I apologize for it not even crossing my mind haha. Seems logical to do the full spread of the girls as well as individual renders. With the individual renders still being placed on the back burner while I focus on the update. So, no poll. I will do both versions.
