Trick or treat workflow, and Life Update. (Patreon)

The process of making a trick-or-treat illustration. You guys may notice something about my art. There are two styles of drawing (comic and illustration artwork), which I'll explain a bit here. When I still worked in the creative industry, I learned the way of making art like other masters and found some success in it. But it forced me to do things in a certain way (aka their ways), and it didn't make me feel happy or enjoy the process at all. The more I kept repeating that process, the harder it was for me to enjoy making art. Eventually, I had to let go of that mindset to reconnect with myself. In doing so, I rediscovered a sense of peace and clarity. I realized that trying to become someone I’m not—or never will be—only leads to frustration and burnout.I spent days struggling with a piece that just wouldn’t come together until I came to that realization. Learning to be as good as other masters is a good thing, but following other footsteps doesn't always end up well (at least for me). Now, I can fully understand myself and my own way to express myself and create art.
I do believe there are some people who are following/supporting me by now who do share a hobby of making art, and I hope my story can inspire you to become a better version of yourself rather than trying to be someone that you never could.
