I’m excited to finally get this one out. Apologies for the long wait; I just came down with a severe case of food poisoning, and it was undoubtedly the worst I’ve had in years. I’m feeling much better now, which is why I was finally able to write this chapter and start on the next!

I hope everyone enjoys reading this chapter. It’s not quite as long as the previous two, but it’s still a decently long and exciting chapter that wraps up the Phenex Arc and sets the stage for the next one, which I promise will be incredibly exciting.

More updates are on the way! I am writing and will be sending out the next chapter very soon to make up for the delay with this one.

Summary: The morning after the day he was killed by his girlfriend, Issei woke up and saw two things. First was Rias Gremory sleeping next to him in his bed, and second was a floating blue window congratulating him on becoming The Player and telling him to go work out as a daily quest.
