Dragon Leveling Ch.24

Summary: The morning after the day he was killed by his girlfriend, Issei woke up and saw two things. First was Rias Gremory sleeping next to him in his bed, and second was a floating blue window congratulating him on becoming The Player and telling him to go work out as a daily quest.

Please tell me Issei gets the Orb of Avarice for Glacia and or Tusk, seeing as it belonged to Jin-woo, and so it would technically belong to him now.

Is it just me, but did the reading quality of the chapter kind of noticeably drop like halfway in? Most heavily during the conference talk itself, before then getting a bit better afterwards. But still not being quite as good as the first half. It honestly almost felt like I was reading one of em LN machine translations All that aside, awesome chapter my man, loved it. I also feel that congratulations are in order, as most DxD fics don't really even get to the Conference arc before being left for dead. I'm curious if you'll have Issei and Vali have their fight here, or if this Issei being as strong as he is, would have dissuaded Vali from joining the Kaos Brigade

Damn that was a good chapter especially since we got more of Aphrodite and Olympus! Btw is the harem still staying a mystery? I’m at least hoping to see the a part of it Also please tell me we’ll get to see some shadow goofiness like in the novel

Yeah... I actually copied the Conference talk from the same scene in one of my old stories lol. I feel like there isn't anything really new I can do with it, so I only adjust it a little and slap it in to save time so I can start the good stuffs (And yes, it's basically identical to the LN, saves for the Gate stuffs, some inputs from Gunhee... though it really doesn't go as long for more people to talk as Issei realized what happened to Gasper earlier than canon). I'm glad that you enjoy the part that I actually write new though haha

Nah. At best she'll just be Elite Knight like Glacia. The first General Shadow is still a bit away.

Ah yeah, that explains it I meant that the reading quality felt almost as bad as machine translated versions of light novels, which clashed heavily with the first half which was a lot better I'd recommend giving it a touch up to be brought to standard with the first half of the chapter and then use it for any other iterations of the Conference you do in the future That aside, I'm getting pretty curious who Issei's girls are gonna be in total. Fairly sure 3 are at least Aphrodite, Grayfia and Akeno

I’m guessing Aphrodite and Akeno, also now I’m wondering if glacia will be his first general or is issei going to meet his own beru sometime in the future and I wonder if he will take Katarea as a new shadow I wonder how that would look like

What are the exact numbers of his army? Like how many wolves, soldiers, elves, etc.

As of this chapter, it's: Wolves 29 Panthers 18 Shadow Troop (Troopers, Bersekers and Assassins) 118 Shadow Elementals 27 Magicians 34 Shadow Elves 42 Devils 14 Fallen Angels 13 Angels 15 Total: 310 (not counting the named shadows) I will make sure to put it in the official release.

Shoot. I love this story. Solo and DXD really mech together nicely. I do hope issei defeats Katerea, Azazel losing an arm seems unnecessary in this story. Also, Katerea as a shadow would firmly cement issei as a high rank hunter. I’m ranting, sorry. Hope for more chapters soon!!
