The first update of 2026!! Dragon Leveling, Chapter 50, the conclusion to the Return to the Demon Castle Arc, is here! Hope that everyone has have an amazing new year!

Important: That said, I also need to point out that several scenes have been removed from the previous chapters and story as a whole, regarding the plot for the next big arc that I have been cooking up with magic beasts capable of perfect mimicking.

I realized that the whole thing is a can of worms I don't want to open, as there are several issues that would affect my story negatively going forward but I didn't think about when I started making the plot for the arcs.

So with that in mind, I have decided to remove the arc entirely before it could become way too big for me to contain. In case you are wondering, the chapters that were edited were chapter 40, 42, 46, 47, and 48, with all the scenes about the strange egg shells, Cid's assassination and the fake Issei have been removed on the publish releases on fanfiction. I hope you guys will understand this decision.

Dragon Leveling Ch.50

Summary: The morning after the day he was killed by his girlfriend, Issei woke up and saw two things. First was Rias Gremory sleeping next to him in his bed, and second was a floating blue window congratulating him on becoming The Player and telling him to go work out as a daily quest.

Aw really? Damn, I was really hype about that. Maybe if you wrote that they take too much time and resources to create, like decades each and enough resources and power to rival a supernatural nation, you could include it back in? Or, idk, something to that effect? I just want my hype arc back:(.

I'm really sorry but I think that is for the best. And also, I have no idea where you get your idea from, but this is definitely not what I had in mind for the arc, so yeah... you would lose the hype either way. But don't worry, I'll try to make up for it as best as I can. That's a promise!

My idea was a shot in the dark to troubleshoot what made you scrap it, because usually the biggest problem with something as overpowered as minions capable of perfect mimicry is why don't the bad guys just spam that? Basically me trying to play editor and suggest a weakness and reason why the Monarchs don't spam mimic magic beasts, because I think they're cool and I really want them back. But if this is truly the end...oh well, better luck next time. No, 'Secret Invasion' is a bummer, but I'm excited to see what you have cooked up in replacement.

I don’t need sleep, I need more chapters!! Great chapter! I hope to keep reading this story till the end. There aren’t many DXD stories that are this good. Many are good but have been abandoned or are pure smut, so I hope you finish this one. Keep doing a great job! Hope to see beru soon

Glad to see this whole castle thing be over and done with. I can't wait to see Issei cure his future queen and the ripples that will cause along the way. I'm also interested in how Issei Will be received after pretty much making Esil's clan the number one by default and how that too will affect things moving forward. I was worried Esil would have been a burden but instead she ended up being the one responsible for a saving throw if nothing else. It was definitely a minor thing but it ended up having quite a huge impact in the grand scheme of things. And that is something she can be proud about. So yeah, a pretty good chapter following a harrowing fight and I look forward to something a little bit more mellow in between this arc and the next.

hmm can't wait to see the next chapter since you didn't address what had previously happened with Rias and her little gang of Misfits so Issei is definitely not going to be happy when he gets back lol
