And the next chapter for Dragon Leveling, chapter 57, titled: The Double Gates, is here, everyone!

We are closing in on the end of the 'Parallel World' Arc, folks! A few more chapters and this one would close out. Sorry for the long wait as well, as I’ve been tied up with some irl stuff, but now I finally had the chance to get this chapter out. I will definitely do my best to deliver more chapters within the next few days and week as well, so hopefully we can close out the arc or at least get the main event done before April ends.

As always, have a good time reading the chapter. Make sure to leave me a heart and a review in the comment once you have finished reading.

I will come back really soon with the next updates.

Stay safe, stay awesome and I will see you guys in the next one!

Dragon Leveling Ch.57

Summary: The morning after the day he was killed by his girlfriend, Issei woke up and saw two things. First was Rias Gremory sleeping next to him in his bed, and second was a floating blue window congratulating him on becoming The Player and telling him to go work out as a daily quest.

That was evil Yagami, leaving us on a cliffhanger like that! 😑 Great chapter, looks like we're nearing the end of this arc, can't wait for the next chapter!

Staying true to the spirit of Solo Leveling ^^

That's one hell of a cliffhanger to leave off on.👍

Where do I even start. The chapter begins with Issei pondering on just how some of his foes are familiar with him and we kind of end things with the minions and even the boss of the gate not only being familiar with him but also apparently being servants of his. And don't even get me started on that cliffhanger. If nothing else, I think it's a clue of what exactly caused things to Go pair-shaped in the high school gate. And also it shows that Issei was right in sending some of his best troops with his Rias and the others. So yeah, that was well handled and it's bad but in a good way if you know what I mean. The date was really well done and I liked it. A bit on the short side but seeing how they went to the high school I can't say that I'm disappointed. Seeing how their Kuoh differs from this one due to gate attacks not happening was a small very crucial detail. And of course let's not forget about what they see what they go to their high school. Obviously people are going to be surprised by their resemblances to the people that they're familiar with and having Issei help his counterpart and his friends was pretty enjoyable as well. And because of our previous conversations I'm pretty sure you can imagine what my favorite part of this chapter was. But instead of having you guess I'm just going to straight out and say it. When I saw they were going to the high school I immediately suspected where you were going with it and that was happy and vindicated at once when I saw Kiyome make an appearance. It was a bit brief but I cannot say that I was disappointed since you pretty much nailed down everything you needed to in a short amount of time. Issei got to know who she was and why his counterpart is familiar with her. Not to mention how his Rias knows her as well as the part her dad plays in their world. And of course let's not forget him picking up on the fact that she has feelings for his counterpart after he helped her and this is what causes Issei to want to know the version of his world better. Not much to say here other than this whole thing was perfectly handled and I genuinely don't think of a way you could have done it better. I can't wait to see Issei meet his world's version of Kiyome but first we have to find out what's up with the gate in the high school. So yeah, a very good chapter on a number of fronts. Truly an excellent job here.

I look forward to seeing what Issei makes from the Arch-Liches Essence Stone.

Another incredible chapter to enjoy. Can see a lot of thought was put into it and the brief moment of Serafall encounter with Issei’s Katerea was a nice touch on broadening the story’s backstory when you touched on Serafall’s and Katerea’s shared history. There are a few questions I wish to inquire about. 1. Does Issei underestimate Sirzechs and Serafall abilities with how much he doesn’t want them to fight. 2. Wouldn’t the leaders be more wary of Issei because they don’t have the same past history as DL universe’s, thus being more suspicious, especially considering Issei’s ability to talk to dungeon monsters? Then again I also can’t discount the likelihood you've already taken this into account and just haven’t broached it yet.
