And I have returned for the next chapter of Dragon Leveling! Chapter 61, Knowledge is Power, is here, everyone!

I hope you guys will have a great time reading this chapter, which serves as a sort of break before we enter the Kyoto Arc. I hope the meeting featured at the start of this chapter will provide some valuable insight into the basic lore of Solo Leveling for those who aren't too well aware of it.

I’ve noticed this has been a recurring issue since the earliest days of the story, as many readers initially got into it thinking it was a standard Gamer fanfiction, when in reality it’s a Solo Leveling Gamer fanfiction.

As always, have a good time reading! Make sure to leave me a heart and a review in the comment once you have finished reading.

I will come back really soon with the next updates!

Stay safe, stay awesome and I will see you guys in the next one!

Dragon Leveling Ch.61

Summary: The morning after the day he was killed by his girlfriend, Issei woke up and saw two things. First was Rias Gremory sleeping next to him in his bed, and second was a floating blue window congratulating him on becoming The Player and telling him to go work out as a daily quest.

Not sure I m remembering wrong but weren't the ORC attacked by a dupilcate of issei just before he and rias went to the parallel world?

Oh that plot has been eliminated fully from the story (I did mention it in the post when the decision was made). You might want to reread some of the previous chapters for clearer contexts.

Great chapter Yagami, looking forward to the next one!

At this point in the story, I'm curious. Where is Issei in the power standings right now? He is clearly in the god class. But I'm curious as to exactly where he stands as of right now.

Glad to see I'm not alone when it came to initial impressions of the story as a whole. The lore explanation was much needed and it certainly was well handled. Issei getting The leaders of the various factions in order to explain things was certainly the best thing he could do after what he's been through and also now that he has some crucial knowledge. He and Jinwoo are hiding how exactly he got the knowledge but thankfully Elith comes in rather useful since not only does he get to show up a new shadow but also it makes sense that she would know what Issei told them. Another advantage of the meeting was the fact that the heads of the factions have some very capable people who act on the information they were given as soon as the meeting is done. Also Issei tells Aphrodite about the apprentice of Hephaestus which solves a particular plot point that was established a while ago. And even if you don't show it, Issei wanting to personally tell that to Hephaestus was a good call in your part. Another key thing about the chapter was how the various factions want Issei to capture some of the monsters in order to see if they can deal with the voices they hear. Normally the ones in the higher rent gates are too dangerous to attempt this with but thankfully the shadows are a good way to handle that particular issue. Even if Issei had to remind them not to kill some of the beasts more than once. At least we also get to see Elith in action and she surely is enjoying the carnage, that's for sure. Some other key points involve the fact that set up for the Kyoto Arc happens in here and it seems like Rias has a way to join in. Cao Cao or at least the version of him in this world makes an appearance and that goes down how you would expect. Issei is initially taken aback and on guard but once he realizes this is not the one he fought, he calms down and things progress much more smoothly. Since Akeno is qualified to go on raids she's present alongside Ravel at her mom's request. And speaking of familiar characters, Kiyome's dad makes an appearance and the meeting with him goes pretty smoothly. He's s understandably surprised when the gate turns into a red one and the contrast between that and everyone else being pretty calm is something I found kind of funny. And that's not forget the ending where The Church trio end up being the only ones home when a woman wants to speak with Issei and gives him a business card. Based on the way you ended things I can only imagine she is someone of some importance And I am curious to see why that is. But I will wait until you address that at some point. All in all, I say that this chapter is a nice way to get back to business so to speak. Issei shares some crucial information which the fashion heads are definitely going to find help on a number of ways while also introducing some key characters for later. Good stuff overall.

Another fantastic chapter, with the discussions about Gate and Gate Monster origins coming to light, Cao Cao brief appearance, the idea of trying to interfere with the voice in monsters’ heads all fantastic points. I do wonder though about Issei dodging the Shadow Monarch part though. It’s already been confirmed by Sirzechs and Azazel that a lot of people are suspicious about Issei’s abilities and growth, and the fact he’s dodging questions about Shadow Monarch would normally lead to any leader to only become more suspicious and question things like “Is Issei in control?” “If he doesn’t trust us can we trust him?”. Not saying Issei should blurt out everything but it just looks like Issei is getting tangled in an increasingly intricate web that everyone is indulging him in. Having said that I still love the story no less and I am eagerly looking forward to the next chapter. Stay well Yagami.
