And here's the next chapter for My Hero Leveling, folks! Chapter 05: Know Your Limit, is here!

Have a fun time reading! This chapter is s long one that's also packed full with action, so I had a lot of fun writing it. I hope that you will have a great time reading as well with Izuku tackling the C-rank Dungeon, and trying out a certain Dungeon for the first time.

Next chapter will be the trip to the USJ, and the attack from the Villain League. After what happened in this chapter, I wonder how that will go for the villains who showed up (evil laugh).

Well then, that's it for now! As always, make sure to leave me a heart and a review in the comment once you have finished reading. I love how well recieved the first chapter was, so I hope that this one will do just as well.

I will come back really soon with the next updates!

My Hero Leveling Ch.05

We all know how the story started. Izuku Midoriya was born Quirkless, but became the inheritor of One for All after All Might saw in him the potential to become the greatest hero the world had ever known. But in this version of My Hero Academia, the world was not only plagued by the rise of super...

Hhmm, not bad, felt like it lacked the feel of determination expressed in source material when he fought Cereby though. Like it was obviously a hard fight, but maybe something similar to his reaction to fighting Overhaul?

Funnily enough I was just wondering when the next update for the story was coming And then this happened. What the coincidence that was. But enough about that let's go over the chapter and I think that the title really sets the tone quite well. The start of the S dungeon really showcased the difference between it and C-ranked one. And it really was no contest, Izuku had some small issues here and there with the C rank while he had to really struggle and only won through the skin of his teeth with the starting boss. I feel like Izuku also learned a few things. Namely how he is not at All Might's level just yet despite the fact that he has his quirk And is already working on moves tailored to his fighting style. And of course let's not forget the fact that he can actually go over the goals set during the exercise and it seems like if he does then he gets better rewards. The blessed box certainly was handy but I feel like handing him the key like that and then up being more trouble than it was worth. Not sure what your plans are regarding the tower but I can't help but feel like this is going to be something to focus on throughout the story instead of a specific time. Noy that there's anything wrong with that, in fact having something like this to focus on throughout the story is actually something that can work to the story's advantage. Other than that I couldn't help but notice that you skipped the whole class representative and breaking in episode. I guess that there really isn't anything to complain about if you're not going to do anything different from Canon. But one thing that really caught my eye does the fact that Izuku's costume is something he could actually bring home with him. I was under the impression that students couldn't do that since the school keeps their costumes during their homeroom. So can you clarify that for me? Other than that I really like the old lady that gave Izuku some water. Not sure if she's just being generous or if she recognized him and wanted to show some appreciation and or help. But either way I liked it. And of course I cannot forget Izuku's thought process regarding the items he just got. Everything he said was logical and the same kind of thought process I would have in his shoes. But not going to lie, the entire time he was going over what to do I couldn't help but think that this was a potential setup for him to meet Mei as well as foreshadow the role she will have in the story. Overall this was quite the action filled chapter And it certainly was a good way to showcase where Izuku is that in more ways in one. Both by giving him a challenge he could overcome and one that he barely managed to succeed in. Not sure if we're going to get another Dragon Leveling chapter but if this is the last we hear from you this month I can't say I will be disappointed. You certainly have managed quite the rate of updates for this story and I am impressed by that but also I still want to remind you what I said regarding not overdoing it with this one.

Even after going through everything he did in these first five chapter, Izuku is still 'not there' in term of mentality just yet. Not to mention he is facing against a monster through and through, and not a man like Overhaul, that could have absolutely killed him at any given moment. It pushed him physically and mentally to the point that there was time in the fight Izuku is reduced down to who he truly is, a young boy who is scared for his life. That's the take for this fight hence why there's a lack of determination showing for the Cerberus fight (because Izuku was absolutely overwhelmed). He will absolutely be refined from this experience though.
