Trying to Be Realistic (Please Read!) (Patreon)

Okay guys I'm gonna level here- I've been terrible about the perks for this Patreon, and I think that's totally unacceptable. First things first- if that's a deal breaker for you and you want money back, DM me here and I'll literally Venmo you or something we will figure that out.

If that's NOT a deal breaker for you:

First of all sorry still, I'm still a jackass for making promises I couldn't hold, and second of all I think I'm gonna need to remove some of the perks that I just haven't been able to follow through on- if I can't hold to them I shouldn't list them. 

However, since I'm doing this I'd like to add some stuff as well, maybe some options that would be more interesting to you guys? I've noticed that the ad free content and the joke input/content input doesn't seem to go very far, so what would you guys want that to be replaced by? Maybe a monthly Q and A or livestream or something? Sky's the limit (and by the sky I mean my incredibly volatile workload capacity). Okay. Let me know in the #comments. 

Also I am still a little depressed but I'm editing a Ro Short that I'll have out before the end of January- I pinky promise. February will be the month of digging myself out of this pit I find myself in.

Ro don't you dare send me any money. Livestreams would be great and (probably) lower effort. Gaming streams would be cool imo but you could stream anything

I love the idea of a livestream/qna that’d be really dope! If that seems feasible with your workload- you got a lot going on and things are starting to skyrocket for you (: I think everyone here is really happy for your success I also really really love the music you post here, my favorite part of the Patreon for sure 😸

first, i really appreciate the transparency and communication. its great to hear from you Rosecat! second, I've really enjoyed the music you upload here! i don't know how attainable it is for you to add more extended cuts or background music but whatever you end up posting I'm sure ill enjoy : ·) I also have plenty of questions if you do end up doing some live or recorded Q&A's, I can't wait!

I think a prerecorded q&a would be cool. or like maybe dvd like bts stuff? like extra clips that you liked but maybe you had to cut for one reason or another. also im just a low level patron anyway so definitely not a deal breaker. (and tbh youre so honest and transparent about everything, it wouldnt have been for me if I was a higher tier anyway). take care of yourself. <3

I'm just a patron cause I like your content and wanted to support it, tbh I didn't even notice you weren't delivering (hell, idek what the patreon perks were in the first place). My favourite perks from other people I'm a patron of are things like knowing the next video topic ahead of time, sometimes getting to vote on potential video topics, and early access to videos before they go public.

I became a patron because I think you're making some of the funniest, most insightful content out there right now. This is the best way I have to show my support that doesn't involve any parasocial weirdness. The reward is primarily intrinsic, although I do like seeing my name in the credits. On a more selfish note, I want to see more trans/nonbinary people winning. I'm sorry that I don't have any suggestions; I could imagine one vote of confidence (or even the eleven so far) may not balance out a desire to produce something of value proportional to each tier. But, as I see it, your videos alone, whether you make four a month or four a year, are worth it. I know that's not the primary concept of Patreon but I don't particularly care. It's not even about investing in some future performance, although I do look forward to whatever you decide to create next. Please just take care of yourself. Cheers.

I have so much empathy for you. A LOT of people are in a depressive state or funk this month - COVID is closer to home than ever before and we’re 2 years into this nonsense. We’re all out of spoons, out of resilience, cut off from our communities, and over pretending like everything is fine. Me and my family are just getting through each day. No one is sleeping well. This is a time to just get by and trust that the future will be brighter.
