Bitter Sweet Sensation (Patreon)

Ok, here it is, the cherry on top, the crown jewel of the entire video, and by far my longest animation yet: Bitter Sweet Sensation ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

My original plan was to create one medium-length animation and two or three short ones, but I ended up making a single very long one instead. I might have overdone it a bit, because in the end the damn thing didn’t even want to load in MMD. After some careful cleanup, though, it works now.

Bitter Sweet Sensation is 12 minutes and 13 seconds long, totaling 22,000 frames. Izumi’s VMD file is around 54 MB, and Maran’s is about 59.3 MB. Each takes between 2 and 3 minutes to load, and they will only load in MMD 64-bit.

Anticipating that some people might run into issues with MMD, I also produced “Lite” versions. These are slightly lower in quality, but the difference is minimal. They are 29.6 MB for Izumi and 33.6 MB for Maran, and they load much faster, so give them a try.

Both the VMD and Blender versions are already available in their respective folders.

Progress Report & Updates

Bitter Sweet Sensation is the last new animation that will be used for the Part Time Jobs 3 video(s). Older animations and some third-party ones will also be included. The new animations alone total over 30 minutes of runtime, not counting story scenes, so this is shaping up to be a very long video.

I will now begin full video production. Even though not all story animations are finished, I will create them along the way. This also gives me time to wait for the voice acting on the final animation. This animation will receive a small update later, mainly to improve lip syncing once the voice work is ready.

Izumi 2.3.3: Minor fixes to weight painting on her Casual Clothes 2 outfit

Izumi’s EPMX Blender files now include more of her outfits

Izumi’s alt textures now include a lust tattoo, makeup, and new color palettes for some outfits

Maran: Fixed weight painting on his arms for both Blender and PMX versions as well as updates to his arm bones.

New variants added to the Pleasure and Guilt animation sets

Small changes to some of the animations that are part of the Guilt and Pleasure sets, mainly physics animation.

Next Steps
