God, Deadlock is so sick. I've been playing it since the pre-alpha or whatever was more publicly known, but it never really clicked with me. Not big on MOBAs. But they recently adjusted some stuff, gave it a visual overhaul, and god... It's so sick. The character designs were already pretty great, but the newest five they've revealed are legit some of the coolest characters I've ever seen in a game. Doorman alone is a game-seller, and brings back some of that incredible Valve writing I've missed so much with a satanic edge to it. I've also finally wrapped my head around the mechanics and have become a hardcore Mo & Krill main (Leslie's on Billy). Finally getting some matches where I'm not spending a full minute or more in the spawn room each death. I seriously can't wait to see where this game goes.

That's all for now, though! Thanks so much, and see you on Friday!

Seth is definitely haunted by what happened to Redd.

Shane Cyberdragon

And there it is, thats why Seth is trying to be extra careful. So the same thing doesnt happen again.

EmeraldEngineer

yeah seth does have a good point here, but he didn't chose them to play it safe there will always be risks.

coup d’liz

"Seth, shut and lie down so we fuck those insecurities away the same way we did to Elizabeth. But since you're being difficult, you don't get to be part of the crew, you just get to be a guest." All joking aside, I DO love that Redd's incident did carry major repercussions for him on a personal level. It makes a lot of sense, and would explain the beginning of a downward spiral, especially after Melody also not working out.

RedEyedNocturus

If you play safe, your career won't face reckless events, but it'll be a slow boring pace. You gotta make that gamble. You'll win something, or you'll lose something. But after that, go again.

It actually makes a lot of sense for Seth to be nervous about pushing the envelope like he did for Redd. I see his point; that he's scared of something happening to Steg and Suria too. But I remember the way you guys wrote Redd; she doesn't seem genuinely pissed about it. At least not anymore. Like she knew the risks too. Your guys writing is fucking phenomenal. You make some nice sexy scenes, but add actual CHARACTER depth. Fuck, I would PAY to see a full animated series for the Rock Cocks. No joke. P.S. that last panel is the final nail in the coffin for my undying love for Elizabeth. Cute, sweet, surprisingly filthy mind, AND she finally got to show her spine to her boss that she ALSO has a crush on? Sign me the FUCK. UP.

The14th

This got real fast.

ThatDarkDude

Huh...wow All the money and connections but it doesn't seem like Seth has ever invested in a therapist

Quadrant

Then let them be the group that breaks the mould and changes this. He's effectively asking them to be in the closet about who they are

This comic is so good, y'all. I'm so proud of Liz. Also, completely apropos of nothing, it finally occurred to me, after several years, that Roxanne Richards' name is a play on "Rock Cocks". Richards = Dicks = Cocks. Roxanne Cocks. Can't believe it took me over 1000 pages to get that joke.

Wow, yeah, something like that would haunt a guy for a while. I actually feel pretty sorry for Seth. On another note, pretty neat that you’re getting into MOBAs now😆! I’m also not that big into them, but I recently started playing Brutal Legend and Dawn of War and they really scratch that RTS itch! I’m starting to get hooked😂
