New page! Click here to catch up!

First page of 2026 and it's these old sluts bummin' around! Leslie put a lot of work not just into their expressions, but also their body language - particularly with Seth. We usually don't get to draw him like this, but King just brings out a little something in him.

We already beat out first game of 2026 - 1000xRESIST! Hell of an experience, that game. The atmosphere of a Yoko Taro game, the graphics of a Suda51 game, and the budget of a Swery65 game. It's definitely more visual novel than anything else, touching on a number of cyclical, generational themes wrapped around an extremely flawed, unreliable character with a sci-fi wrapping. The voice acting is... a bit on the weaker side for how much you have to listen to (everybody talks like they're trying not to wake up their parents in the next room) and I don't think it quite nailed the ending(s). But it's still a game I'm glad I got to experience and I can't wait to see what else the studio makes. Hekki grace.

That's all for today, though! Thank you so much for the support, and see you on Monday!

Is he about to say that instead of building a bonsai tree with the lego set you should instead turn it into a bird of paradise? Seth has been missing the point. He's trying to control a creative duo, rather than work creatively to let them be creative. You make the game sound very surreal. Maybe I'll have to check it out. Can say I've only just beaten my first game of 2026 as well. Sonic the Hedgehog 1 😂

First: love this interaction between King and Seth. He needs this conversation. Second: Have you guys ever played the Yakuza games? They can be really funny

Based on Seth's concerns about the duo doing thier big naked on stage thing "Suria's Big Dream". I ask " are we nearing the end?" 😱😱😱😱😱🥺🥺🥺🥺 or will that happen when Suria says I'm pregnant

I did not expect to be in this image. Look you folks don't understand iT HAS TO BE DONE THE **RIGHT** WAY OR ELSE IT'S BAD AND I DON'T LIKE IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Joking aside, this is an interesting explanation for why Seth is the way he is. He's been successful in the past based on a set approach to this process, so why change it up? It's an extension of his overbearing/controlling behavior. Unfortunately for him, Seth and Steg (And even more so Lizzy) are willing to go to the lengths necessary to break him of this misconception, regardless of if he likes it or not. As for game recommendations: I can highly recommend Lorelei and the Laser Eyes if you're in the mood for a head scratcher, I will shout about Nine Sols from the rooftops, and I'm currently looking forward to Cairn and Pragmata. Also Happy New Year!

I was on the ground floor of the Yakuza series starting with the PS2 Mark Hamill Majima version! I played every game since launch and even helped campaign to get the digital version of Yakuza 5 released in the US back when Sega was considering never bringing any further Yakuza games stateside again! Still don't know how to play Mahjong, though!

I too am an instruction-follower. When I cook I reread every step of the recipe like 4 times 😅
