Real fuckin' bummed about Sony shutting down Bluepoint Games today. Sony might honestly be my most hated game company right now, but only because I used to really appreciate them. My expectations for Microsoft have always been low, but Sony came out of the gate brimming with possibilities. From the get-go, they made the effort to use their connections to bring in artists and musicians and people not typically associated with video games specifically to CREATE unique experiences. Vibribbon, Parappa the Rapper, Boku no Natsuyasumi. They offered potential you couldn't get anywhere else, courting Square-Enix, Konami, Capcom to make some of their greatest games still to this day. And that ethos continued all the way up until the PS4, giving us games like Journey, Dreams, The Last Guardian.

But that Sony's long been dead. Even if I wasn't the biggest fan of Bluepoint's work on Demon's Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, it was still exciting to speculate what they might be working on next. To find out they were shuttered because they couldn't deliver on a fucking GOD OF WAR LIVE SERVICE GAME, THE DUMBEST FUCKING CORPORATE MANDATED IDEA EVER, just makes my blood boil.

If the Switch 2 version of Warframe is good enough, we're probably just going to pawn off our PS5. Not like they ever bothered to put games on it, and I'm tired of waiting for it to potentially release something interesting. Just Steam and Switch 2 from now on, I suppose. Same as it ever was.

Also, Leslie hurt their finger by accidentally slamming it on a counter, and me telling you about it helps according to Leslie. Also, their salad was really good. All things Leslie stressed I tell you.
