It was me and Leslie's dating anniversary! We've been smooching for over 18 years now! Of course, we had known each other since high school, so we've known each other for over 20 years! That's more than half of my entire life! I'm so incredibly lucky to have Leslie in my life. 20 years later and over 2,000 miles from our old hometown, and looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together. And making super sexy comics, of course~

Our anniversary movie was The Backrooms! Wasn't sure what to expect going in with only a passing familiarity with the original short (just the first) and liminal spaces in general, but damn... What a film. I had never even considered the idea of the backrooms being what it's revealed to be in the movie, but it's a scary, kind of sad and beautiful sort of idea. Much more thought out and character-focused than I ever expected, really damn good film. Highly recommended.
