So! Wanted this to be a little surprise, but I've been working on updating the Fanpack to include hi-res panels from the last 4 chapters! This is actually kind of a time-consuming process where I have to go panel to panel from every single page, isolating them, seeing if I can hide dialogue for completely clean images, etc. It's a good excuse to read through old work. I've only finished chapter 18 and... honestly, looking back, not a chapter I'm happy about. We were working through it during a pretty dark time of our life, and I think it more than shows. Especially in the writing. I got really sloppy in some spots. So sloppy in fact, that I'm going to break the secret Writer's Code and lay bare... CONTINUITY ERRORS. That's right, I'm going to point out the plot holes that I PERSONALLY MADE. If you thought I was a good writer, then I am going to PROVE. YOU. WRONG.

Here's a major one - Georgie mentions his "first time" with Seth in the backseat of SOMEONE'S car. A funny joke maybe, but... didn't Georgie just tell Dakota about his first time meeting a sad Seth while working as a bartender, and even going so far as to account for all the multiple ways they fucked at said bar? Did we just retcon this? No! Because looking back at my own character history notes, Georgie had ALWAYS met Seth while bartending! This bit in track 18 was just something I wrote in a delirious depressed haze, completely forgetting the history I had set up.

I've gone and rewritten the panel in question, still keeping Georgie having some valet parking experience, but removing Seth from the equation. Seth doesn't ALWAYS need to be in Georgie's life history. My current editorial self is giving past Brad a stern talking to.

In another instance, King begins to make his offer to Suria and Steg about playing at the club, which apparently JUST finished renovating.

It was so recently renovated, in fact, that the grand opening is TOMORROW. Which... now that we're real deep into the chapter, really doesn't feel like this is day one of the business, does it? None of the staff or patrons act like it is, and no further mention of it being day one of Heaven has been mentioned. I'm not sure why we thought to establish this as the grand opening, especially since we forgot right after.

I also just really don't like Johnson's line about the table. Too jokily written for someone like Johnson.

I went and rewrote these lines as well, focusing more on King's logic behind inviting the Cocks, and also rewriting Seth's lines to better set up why he would end up being so protective over Suria and Steg's "performance" in a couple chapters later.

Like I said, I was just particularly sloppy with this chapter and I'm not happy with it. But at least these changes smooth over some particularly egregious continuity errors for new readers and those of you who want to re-read. Consider it a patch for the comic to enhance your experience.
