Whew! Rewards and pages ALL done! And we're REAL happy with how these came out. Especially this page right here. Leslie built this entire page around that last panel, she REALLY wanted to draw that last panel. I didn't write it! Instead, she suggested it to me and I helped find visual references for the other poses, mostly by pausing at certain points of Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Tell Me Baby" music video, which is probably the best source for finding various guitar playing poses.

Hope you also had a good Halloween! Leslie and I marathon'd the first three Hellraiser movies in a row! I've actually been kinda freaked out by Pinhead for most of my adult life, but hearing him described as "BDSM horror" got me and Leslie a little more intrigued. The first movie was great! Just a standalone, solid horror story that happened to serve as an introduction to Cenobites. I stand by my assertion that it feels like "An Adult Goosebumps Story". The second movie... was miserable! People seem to like it, but we hated the lore it established, we didn't vibe at all with their vision of hell, and the plot and general cinematography had the air of a mediocre horror FMV game. Like, if I had to choose between Hellraiser 2 and Phantasmagoria 2, then I would choose Phantasmagoria 2 even if it's just Sierra's version of a Hellraiser 2 video game. Hellraiser 3, though... man. I was worried in the first half, but then there was a robot cenobite that shoots CDs at people and I had the time of my life. They definitely got away from the "lawful" bdsm torture man into more of a Freddy Kreuger-like, but I think it worked WAY better than the "do nothing and then die" approach H2 took with Pinhead. I just hope the other Cenobites come back in later movies, Butterball is my guy.
