DF Retro Supershow! My top tier Patreon subscription is getting its monies worth lolll

Great news on the DF Retro Supershow and an excellent cast. Will it be gated behind the top tier Patreon? Frankly, I love retro topics but the retro tier pricing is quite steep compared to the others. Maybe you are going to review the tier model and its offerings in the future? Perhaps multiple tiers for DF Retro could help gaining a broader audience?

Hi there - Retro Supporters will get the new show ahead of everyone else in a similar way to how standard Supporters get the normal Direct ahead of everyone else.

Peter

I shall be upgrading to support this, simply wonderful news chaps

Peter

Increased my membership to the retro tier. Can't wait for the first episode!

It’s interesting the discussion on the next Xbox pc thing. What I would say is that whilst via AMD Xbox might be able to undercut pre builts as Rich says - there is no longer the incentive for Microsoft to subsidise the Xbox hardware. In fact the opposite is true. If they make hardware presumable they want to sell with a profit margin….which ties into their 30% target. Now that Xbox games exist everywhere selling hardware is no longer loss leading for them.

Windows 11 has been a disappointment from what I hear. I have occasional contact with it when I use my wife's PC. That said, Linux is a fully featured alternative nowadays. I have been driving Linux for years now, from work, through games, to everyday home stuff. Except for online games like Fortnite, everything simply works. And I use regular Ubuntu, not a specialized gaming distro. If someone's looking for an alternative to Windows, I recommend checking out Linux.
