Coming this week on Digital Foundry (Week 12, 2021) (Patreon)

Heya, folks! Hope everyone had a great weekend. We are of course back in our home offices, cleanly shaven and sobered up for a new week of videos and news! Here's what we got planned for this week:

• A new episode of DF Direct Weekly on Monday, with Rich, Alex and the newly released Will Judd talking news, content and of course answering your Patreon supporter questions! John and Audi speaks with author Alex Aniel about his new Resident Evil book, Itchy Tasty!

• Monster Hunter Rise launches this week - Capcom has been kind enough to share review code with a long lead time and John has something special lined up for us...

• Alex will be returning to Marvel's Avengers to stack up the PS5 game with the Xbox Series consoles. Two very different approaches to the performance mode - which looks and runs best?

• We've got Rocket Lake Intel CPUs in-house and Will's testing begins. We're going to be upgrading our review test suite and putting the new Intel processors through their paces against the Ryzen 5000 competitors.

• Tom's going to be looking at SSD expansions and alternatives for PlayStation 5. How best to run your legacy games and how does external storage compare to the internal drive?

• The GamePass versions of NieR Automata and The Evil Within are apparently much better than their Steam alternatives... but how much? Alex will be looking at that after Avengers.

We look forward to seeing your comments and feedback on these topics and of course, check back right here on Patreon for some exclusive content throughout the week as we continue our revamp, you don't want to miss this!
