Well, hello there! It's Rich here with your regular scheduled update on all things #content. We have completed our weekly meeting and this is what you need to know about projects now in development.
* Rich (ie me) had a good go of the Halo Infinite beta over the weekend and had a very nice time with it. Some interesting changes over the last 'flight', including a big improvement in Series X 120fps performance, and the arrival of an actual Xbox One X 60fps mode... which isn't bad! Alex will be joining me to complain about the PC version. #ConsoleMasterRace
* John is working on The Touryst for PlayStation 5 before moving onto a brace of projects we can't talk about right now. The Touryst on PS5 is an interesting game with a twist that may surprise many!
* Tom finished up the COD Vanguard beta coverage over the weekend, which is now on early access. Right now, he is looking at Ride 4 in the wake of the viral replay video and - yes - we will be seeing what the actual game is like but more importantly stacking it up against DriveClub Bikes on PS4.
* Alex will be off on assignment later this week in one of the very few press trips we've agreed to do since the pandemic kicked in, but before that, he's looking at The Medium on PlayStation 5.
* Audi conducted an interview about Zool Redimensioned with the developer that will be available on early access soon. While he's staying with John, they'll be putting together more DF Retro Plays and various other things. I've just sent John a package today and the vast bulk of it was actually atrocious big box Amiga games for Audi. Will the German customs people allow the package in?
We've had lots of questions about the revised Patreon offering with the new DF After Dark podcast and the opening up of DF Direct Weekly to all supporters. Questions like: when is it going to happen? What about that RSS feed? We'll be posting the full plan for that shortly, but in the meantime - have a great week!
