Coming This Week on Digital Foundry (Week 41, 2021) (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone, it's Rich here with your update on everything that's happening here at Digital Foundry. It's a little later than usual as I was away for most of yesterday, returning from a wedding anniversary trip (a very lucky 13 years!). Then when I did get back, it was straight into preparing the Eurogamer posts for the last DF Direct Weekly and then for Alan Wake Remastered. So, apologies for the delay but still, lots going on:
* Tom's Alan Wake Remastered video goes live today at 3pm UK time - this has been on early access to premium and retro tiers. We try to do this as much as possible on non-embargoed content. After this, Tom is assembling a Battlefield 2042 Xbox beta video, based on captures supplied by contributors, which is a first.
* John is working on video content for the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, while Rich (ie me) is dipping in with some Crysis 3 assist work. Can't wait to get going on that because despite seven years of benchmarking, I'm still loving this game. Or rather the first half of the campaign...
* Alex is Mr Crysis, right? So he'll be looking at the PC versions of the game. Expect all of the Crysis content to land very close to the October 15th release date.
* Rich (ie me) is circling back to the Forza Horizon 5 preview content. Due to various reasons, we're late on this one, but beyond this opportunity and running up to launch, we have some truly ambitious plans for what looks like being one of the biggest and best games of 2021.
* Will is working on a Eurogamer review coming soon but beyond that, there's not much more we can share at this time.
DF Retro supporters? Expect a NEW retro pick-ups video from Audi coming this week. Hope you all have a fantastic 'rest of the week' and thanks once again for your support.
