How about some early access? Here's what Tom Morgan and Alex Battaglia make of the Battlefield 2042 beta. This is an interesting video in that core content here was supplied by two of our supporters - Oliver Mackensie and Gavin Stone. Without their assistance, we wouldn't have been able to cover this one at all, we're just too stacked up on other projects. Enjoy!

On a related note, we're still working through contributor applications - there were quite a few. It's been a case of tabulating everyone's hardware, internet connections and figuring out where we go from there, so please be patient if you've not heard back from us yet!

Hold my hand. I'm scared. I've built my life around this franchise and for me, it wasn't great. Not BFV levels of bad, though. Which was nice😂

This mirrors how it felt on the Series X for me. I wish they had a bit more of a discussion around the actual graphical presentation. The Frostbite engine has traditionally been a technology showcase, as recently as BFV, and this strikes me as somewhat graphically unimpressive in comparison. The weather effects and foliage density are awesome, but beyond that, it seems like a sideways step rather than an upgrade vs. prior Frostbite games.

Looking forward to the PS5-part. Hade terrible problems with stutters during my playtime. The PC-version is also strange because of the horrible CPU-optimisation.

Great job Oliver Mackenzie, sorry if I butchered your last name.
