Would you like to follow me? I'm asking because of recent news that suggests artists may face limitations or even be de-platformed as adults. It seems like a big grey area to me, so I'm asking for some facts to calm myself down."I have temporary solutions, but some veterans may remember websites closing, changing policies (and going bankrupt) .My subscribestar postings are exactly the same btw .

I don't want to see you have to dumb down your content to keep up with the growing list of demands by the assholes running this shitshow.

Ainformer

I'd swap over. Dunno if I can speak for everyone else.

KamadevaSFM

Especially I finally got a grib with Blender and ready for pulling out frequent content . 2022 left a big hole and Im about to re-pay it with hard work. Least I need is unnessary labour just for guidlines . Not saying something did happen but just in case.

david

I like ur game but I like patron ._. Easy to sub and see content.

super wonky wookie

I think anyone whos been watching what's happening to other websites knows what might happen if you stay. I'd rather see your work free from restrictions, instead of having to appease the censors.

RedRing

Subscribestar really needs an app. Having to check the site for updates and not getting notifications from creators kinda sucks

Movfefe

Will follow you anywhere.

KamadevaSFM

Atm its just an impuls. Everything goes the same .

super wonky wookie

PayPal and Gumroad started waging war on NSFW. Patreon is starting to do the same.

Gary Palmer

Boo! Don't they have anything better to do with their time?

Dave Ort

The problem is Subscribestar limits the types of payment options. I used to have an account until they changed that which made paying difficult.

Mr.sexyman1996

I think patreon is easier I never use subscriptions star if being honest patreon more popular too

sword

If your prices don't increase over at Subscribestar then I would. But regardless, if Patreon is getting on your ass then I don't see why shouldn't. You shouldn't have to struggle with BS policy & arbitrary limitations

KamadevaSFM

Nah ,all the same . Its all about early access and previews/WIPs.

sword

I see, still hope Patreon doesn't ever get on your ass

DarkFist

Sadly i already seen some people go to subscribestar because of patreon policy, some of them got banned for no explanation.

Billhyahoo

Two artists I follow already got banned, no explanation, no response from customer service, just like that (The moved to Substar.) Some ppl suggested it might have to do with Patreon being in the Apple store that has a no NSFW policy, but I don't know how true that is...

Billy Bob

I will follow to the ends of the earth

Tolkin

What’s happening with resident evil SV?

Tolkin

Just wondering

Incubi Polyamore

Subscribestar only has a credit card. And it's not like PayPal where I can hide the payments from my wife :) I recently lost a creative person. (HRelease has also stopped on Patreon)

KamadevaSFM

Gets a recut and release later this year.

Tolkin

You talking about 3 right?

Tolkin

Hello? (Sry if I’m bothering you)

R. Dunbar

Will you be able to migrate all the files here onto subscribestar or will older works remain here with only new work at the new site?

Bob

I use both services and would follow you without hesitation. That said I also think Patreon kinda sucks and I'm not really impressed with the app. I am new to all this and rather old but not too averse to tech. I just don't see the necessity for a mediocre app for everything.
