Hi everyone! Quarter 3 of 2024 is over and with that comes another round of analytics, announcements, and questions & answers! Click here to watch on YouTube.

I sincerely appreciate those of you who tune into these and who asked questions to fill up a good amount of this video! Thanks so much for your support and kind words.

📢 NOTE: There are some Patreon changes coming to kick off 2025 that doesn't directly impact you if you're currently paying, but would if you cancel and then wish to come back in 2025. Some minor tier adjusting and pricing updates. I'd recommend watching that part of the video over anything else if you have no interest in the video at all. Formal dedicated announcements here on Patreon will begin in November.

Cheers,

Good info, and great plans for 2025! My yearly sub recently renewed, so I'll be along for the journey! 😊👍

Aww that's sweet of you to say we make you want to be a better person when in many ways it's you that makes us want to be better people, at least that's the case for me! We definitely need a James Hetfield and Lzzy Hale collaboration. Those voices would be unstoppable. Question, how would you feel about a third reactr tier for like a miniseries of 8 episodes or less with a one per quarter request limit? Idk how that would even work but could be cool? Idk, just a thought.

Tyler Foster

Potentially an easier one, although it would be expensive to do a whole season, would be to just vaguely do it by aggregate length. Like we could request a 3 hour movie, so maybe it would be possible to Reactr 3 hours worth of a TV show.

Nathan Jasper

Yeah that's why I was thinking miniseries so it wouldn't clog up Kaiielle's time and there wouldn't be any expectation of further seasons past season 1.

Death Lego

Blimey, was that really an hour and a half. Gots to go to work now. I agree, of all the larger Patreon communities I'm in, this feels the most positive. There's unfortunately been a series of spoilers in some of my stripy scarf content, subs. For those who know who this man is. So I appreciate this place, and you, more than ever.

You say you're waiting for someone to be like "I am fucking stupid with money, I am so in debt, I have no idea how credit cards work, I have never touched the stock market" and I felt spoken to lol. I am financially illiterate for all intents and purposes and I am in 5-digit consumer debt (I'm an idiot, that's why lol). So I don't think I have anything in particular to ask you but you said you'd enjoy talking about that so I thought I'd point out that I am the very person you mean lol :P

Movies with KL

Not considering it at all, honestly. I want to keep it to movies and let TV series be my decision or a polled option.

Movies with KL

I appreciate that and you! Sorry you've been spoiled so much. I know some other reactors have had "problem people" in their communities and it makes me so grateful that we've seemed to avoid that here. 🤞

LOL I knew there'd be some of you out there! When I don't have the time to talk, I'm quick to recommend. The budgeting program that I have used for 10+ years is You Need A Budget: https://ynab.com - they have a 34-day free trial. The power of it is not fully in the software though, it's the method, if you follow it. The website has a ton of info about the method, there's guides, videos, etc. I believe they still offer live sessions that you can join where you get to actually hear someone speak to teach. I've recommended the program and method to so many people in my life. Bank customers, friends, family, people online. 😄 It was what helped me finally get out of consumer debt back in 2015.

I’m only a quarter of the way through this video, but as far as Daredevil is concerned. Watching the Defenders (8 episode limited series with the Netflix Marvel Heroes) is sort of mandatory before you get to season 3 of Daredevil or it won’t make any sense. That is all. Will continue now.

Tyler Foster

I think the Thor: Love and Thunder thing reflects that old adage that if you have a good experience, you don't share with that many people, but if you have a bad experience, you'll tell as many people as possible. Always enjoyable to get a shout-out in a video, whether that's expected (Ghostbusters) or unexpected (this one). Excited to hear that we could be getting to some of the later Alien and Terminator movies, which I like (especially the "Assembly Cut" of Alien³, which I'll put my two cents in for now, and which can hopefully be found on Canadian YouTube as the "Special Edition"). Will note that the third Terminator movie is currently undergoing some sort of rights shift and is temporarily unavailable in America; my guess is the same is true in Canada. Also, have to say, even though I know I could not discourage you, that I'd be surprised if you could find even one person who was genuinely excited for Die Hard 5 outside of completionism... As far as community things, I'm still looking forward to watching more sketch comedy on Discord. Looking forward to the Ashleigh collab. I imagine you're "trading" like you did with Cassie where one of you has already seen the movie you're showing the other one, but I can't help but thinking of all the movies that I want you both to see (like the make-up for StF reaction...).

Tyler Foster

Re: spoilers - I do think some people are unaware or don't pay much attention to the fact that you don't like to even know the actors in advance...but I have to admit that's probably more because I'm putting in the work over here!!

Movies with KL

Totally fair re: TLAT. Noted. That's the plan, but it could change.

Movies with KL

Yes, lots of people don't know that I prefer not to know and I accepted a while ago that it's not worth getting frustrated over.

Tyler Foster

This is strictly informational -- I am unlikely to request a TV show and have no investment in whether or not you change your mind -- but Mary/Marijchu has recently started doing it and seems very happy with it, so if you ever change your mind, she might have insight into how she went about it that is worth hearing. But she's also working outside of Reactr.

Tyler Foster

My immediate thought is: what if the makeup artist version of you would be loaded, but she's "fucking stupid with money, so in debt, has no idea how credit cards work, and has never touched the stock market"?
