Hi everyone! It's been nearly non-stop snowing here for like a week now. Soka is THRIVING. Holy crap, this dog loves snow. I'm not used to it, but it makes me happy. Anyone else have snow and loving it? Or hating it? Anyone all decorated for Christmas yet?

This upcoming week here on Patreon we have the last series of Phase 4 in the MCU, the next X-Men film, and a Reactr request that I'm really excited about! We are also finishing Season 1 of Luke Cage, and there's a good chance I may finish the Undead Nightmare DLC of Red Dead Redemption too. This could mean that December starts fresh in a few different ways. 😉

For those of you who are currently free members / public viewers:

📢 HAPPENING NOW: 50% off your first month or year at my Insiders tier using code INSIDER50, as long as you sign up before Dec 21. This is for new paid members only.

📢 HAPPENING JAN 1 2025: Patreon tier restructuring! Watch this video for full details and make sure to become a paid member at the Watchers or Early Insiders tier before year-end to get yourself locked-in.

🎤 IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: I was interviewed on The Reactorverse Podcast, hosted by Eric from Passionfruit! It was a very fun conversation. Please click here to watch or listen to it!

🔜 STARTING IN DECEMBER FOR INSIDERS TIERS: Agents of SHIELD Season 3 in the Marvel journey, and I will begin watching Firefly! ❤️ Firefly and Chernobyl were the winners of my "What Mini-Series To Watch?" poll that was for Insiders members to vote on. They'll be watched back-to-back alongside Agents of SHIELD and then once done, I'll throw up another poll for what multi-season series to watch next.

Soka's bestie Stella got to spend most of the weekend with us. These two gals are absolutely hilarious and I'm so glad that they get along so well.

Stella really enjoys the light corner of my office.

Maybe a little too much. 💤

I don't remind you all of my Discord server that much, but I will today because it's become a comfort space. In addition to talking movies and shows and games, we have a Question of the Day every single day that has become so good for conversations and getting to know one another a bit more. The sports channel is new and has gotten very active, because I didn't realize how many sports fans were in the community! And there are a bunch of us who do daily puzzles like Wordle, Connections, Waffle, etc. and post our results and talk about it and that motivates me to keep doing them every day.

Feel free to come and join us! My server is wide open to everyone, but if you are a paid member here on Patreon, you'll get access to a Patreon-only space in there too. Just make sure to connect your Discord account in your Patreon settings.

I think that's about it for sharing right now! I appreciate you all being here so much. 😊 You're the best and I'm grateful every day.

Yay for She-Hulk! I'll have to upgrade my membership for Firefly.

All of She-Hulk in a week? Insane rate of content, I love to see it.

Assembling music for Christmas playlist. Mistress for Christmas by AC/DC or the cover by Halestorm? Why not both! Finishing the decorating tonight and tuning in to Wind River. So excited to hear your thoughts on that one! Looks like a jam packed week! Def excited for everything! And puppos! Puppos everywhere!

You've been going nuts with uploads, updates, merch, etc lately. Please be mindful to not burn yourself out! Also, forgot to mention, but the podcast was a very enjoyable listen. You did great!

You remember that I didn't upload a single movie watchalong to Patreon between Oct 27 and November 20? That was my burnout prevention. 😉 Thank you, to both things!

I'm not quite ready for Christmas music yet.. I feel like that mindset kicks in on December 10. 😂

Everyone has that certain sweet spot! For me it's around this time cause it helps me get through thanksgiving awfulness lol

She-Hulk was underrated IMO, I liked it better than Hawkeye and 2 other shows that you haven't seen yet, but yeah...and it was surprisingly extremely comic accurate, the way she speaks, the setting everything, like wow, I was flabbergasted... and it was labeled as the first MCU half hour comedy series.

Last Friday the local mall hosted their annual tree lighting with fireworks. After a love Christmas concert, Santa throws a fireball across a pond and a giant blue spruce lights up and fireworks light up the sky for the next 12-15 minutes. It’s been a family tradition for almost 20 years now. Following that the tree goes up and the house is decorated. It’s go-time, the Christmas season has began for me. Even though US Thanksgiving is this Thursday. We’ve only had flurries so far. But the temperature has finally acknowledged the season we’re in, which makes me happy. I love cooler weather. Looking forward to the Luke Cage season finale. I’ve really enjoyed my rewatch and look forward to your overall thoughts when you wrap.

I'd have to admit to not feeling very Christmassy just yet. I plan to do decorations this weekend. That should help 🙂 I do love snow, so long as it's not too much at once. Glad to see Soka is living the best life. Looks like things are back in full swing for ya 💪 nice lineup coming up

Decorations usually do help getting into the spirit of things. I hope to have some time soon to set mine up, as well.

Every walk with a dog is a good walk. 🙂

10 months of winter and two months of tough sledding

Ah snow ❤️ We had some snow recently. It started snowing last friday morning. We got roughly 7cm and then it all rained away during saturday... Actually last week was the first one that felt a bit wintery, as temperatures dropped below 0. Up until then it had been sorta steady 10-12 degrees and now we are back at around 8 degrees.

You know, it just occurred to me today to mention that you’re reaching a point in Phase 4 and beyond where you will start seeing some bleed through from the non-phase Marvel shows and the present day MCU. You’re going to be exposed to information, stories, and characters out of order. I guess that actually started with Hawkeye, but yeah. I wouldn’t want someone to watch Rebels then Clone Wars (like I did) so I feel responsible to mention it in case no one else has yet. So you can make informed decisions. I’m along for the ride however you do it.

Movies with KL

I appreciate your concern! There have been a few people here that have let me know that there is not *enough* of a connection between the non-Phase shows and the Phase movies/series that would justify pausing my Phase journey completely in order to play catch up with the non-Phase shows. The Marvel timeline tells me that I would have to watch *everything* in the non-Phase list before continuing with my Phase 4 journey, and I'd have a lot of people mad at me on YouTube if I were to do that. Since I've been committed to watching both at the same time from the beginning, and I'll be caught up on the Phases with everyone else long before I finish the non-Phase shows, I plan to continue doing what I'm doing!
