knock knock Happy New Year! 🥳 Isn't it fun that 2050 is as close to us now as 2000 is? 😉 Okay I'll stop before we all sit here and dread about how fast time goes.

It's been a little bit since we've done a poll! And something I am committing for myself this year (but also ALL OF YOU, of course) is a movie slot on the channel every month that is a Patreon poll winner.

I promised that this year I'd dive into some westerns and before I get into some classic westerns, I want to do a modern western poll! This will be open for voting until the end of this weekend and then the reaction will be shared later this month.

Rooting for Django Unchained as it is the best movie on this poll imo. But True Grit deserves a reaction too some day

I understand excluding Tombstone because you didn't want to include any 90s movie, but it's wild to think that it's not considered new new because it's over 30 years old. That makes me feel old (lol), but I'm going to continue to call it the best "modern" western movie (IMO).

If you ever revisit the modern Western after this, I highly recommend Bone Tomahawk and The Harder they Fall.
